I was around with the contentlotto thing, he did some good promotion some CLOSE to being spam(board promotions), but I wasnt spammed on ICQ / E-mail by him.
I also used his hosting, there was some things I was not happy with about the setup, and he refunded the amount paid. Didnt receive any messages/e-mail from him at all the last 4-5 months, not even "old customer come back with a special price" E-mails wich is standard from most companies I belive. Baddog spamming? No not really, not me at least. I've been in adult almost 8 years, fulltime around 7 years so surely I would somehow be included in his spam message since I've been using the same ICQ since the beginning and the same E-mail for at least 6 years |

The bottom line here is we're all in this business. And no matter how many friendships there are, bullshit that goes on, social cliques that form; this is still just a business.
If you don't want to have to deal with the typical business bullshit; ie: advertising then go to some surfer forum and don't give out your ICQ/email/AIM/etc.. :2 cents: I can't understand people that cry on the boards about icq spam, email spam etc.. When I have this issue after trying to ignore it, I politely ask for it to stop (when it becomes ridiculous), and if it doesn't what do I do? I remove them from my list. If I go to the humane society to pick out a new pet, I expect to hear dogs barking, dig? |
