My thoughts are with you & your family. I'm so glad you'll be able to have him treated in Canada. Otherwise you probably would have had to sell your house/car...everything you own to bring him to texas.

So this is awesome news. If you need any help with updating sites etc. while you're back & forth from doctors (and trust me that will eat major time) let me know....i'd be more than happy to donate some of my time & expertise.

That doctor is so stupid. How come he's giving us horrible news when he wasn't sure himself and needed opinions from other doctors. He should've waited a little longer. This is really good news.. We still have to go back for scanner tests but at least we know he will be treated here. Both my wife and I can't believe it. There's always hope..
blah i hate stupid doctors. but i'm very very very happy to hear the good news! i'm still keeping samuel in my prayers. *love*

I mentioned in the last thread that one of my daughters went through this. I didn't want to add to what you were already feeling, so I didn't write that it seemed odd they were sending him for treatment after (what I understood from your post was) a single set of scans. I'm glad - but not surprised - that is not now going to be the case.

I remember how hard it was to take in so much information, particularly at such an emotional time and especially when a lot of it is put in very technical terms. If it would be of any help, I can give you an idea of what exactly to expect and the kind of questions you might want to ask your doctors.
