i always reserve a few invitations for people I run into before the event though - if i like them and they're cool i invite them. If they expect something, i leave them behind. it's impossible to find everyone and icq/email doesn't always get though.

example - last year I invited dave from mgm last min. he had bought tons from me - hadn't got an invite - ended up talking to him and invited him to come. he didn't ask.

i have hundreds of friends and thousands of clients in this biz. only 100 seats.

Thanks for the tip but I already know all about trolls. I worked as a model for five years before I started a website. I have worked for a lot of the companies on here. I know many of the people on the board and they still give me advice to this day. I know how the game works. I also have friends that have huge traffic sites and none of them behave like you do.
