According to Yahoo there are 7369 external pages linking to debsdeepthroat.com. I had a quick look and all had a 2257 direct link to your site so it's possible that Yahoo is NOT counting the links via refer.ccbill.com (which is a redirect to your site), so the actual number may be higher.

I can't imagine that after being in this business for 7-8 years that you could honestly think that it was fair and professional to close down an established site such as yours in such a short time. That doesn't even give most members enough time to complete the membership they've paid for, which could result in some "surprise" billing transactions in the near future.

Some people have suggested rotating your content but here's another idea: turn it into an archive only site. State clearly on the tour and join page that it's not updated, and reduce the monthly price accordingly (or don't rebill at all). Yeah, that's still pissing off the affiliates that took the time to create ways to promote you, but at least they don't lose *everything* they've worked for.

At the very least I believe you should set up a script that recognises certain referers (ie your affiliate's domains) and redirects to a URL of their choice. Placing a TGP onto a paysite domain with thousands of affiliate links is definitely Not On.

After serious thought about your posts...insults too, this is what I am thinking....Having someone else take over the site, a NEW debsdeepthroat so to speak, a new fresh younger face while all content stays in the members area as an archive along with the new girls stuff....that way any links old and new will still be good...This seems like a much better idea than a tgp out with the old in with the new sorta thing

Yeah good deal on re-thinking the idea. Converting your site into something that it has never been is twice as hard as just letting a site you've already created retire. Ride the rebills and let your affiliates push it as a classic site. If you want to start a new site then open another site or just add to this one. It takes years to build up all of that traffic and it'd be a real shame to lose all that hard work by trying to re-juggle it.

Congrats on a great run in this business. Eight years is a long time to be in the business, there is an old saying about a year in this business for a model equals one year in a dog's life.

I have been at this since 1997, I do not get burned out on making money...

But I do understand, do what you feel is best for you and good luck on your future endeavors.

IMO Keeping the site running would be easier than closing it down. If Deb is burned out being in front of the camera get another wannabee porn star to fill her shoes, buy in exclusive from content producers, buy in non exclusive for content providers (we have a few scenes suitable :winkwink: )
