I couldn't give a shit about any private drama between some businesses... but you stuck your head in her thread in an effort to "steal" business from her. Try and spin it all you want but that's what you did. Her thread didn't even have anything specific about Adri until you came into it.

I would be saying the same thing to her if you posted a launch thread and she came into it and tried to steal your thunder.

As for being "upfront" with affiliates... Most of us allready saw a couple threads a few days back that indicated Adri was no longer with Mellissa.

Everything I said was 100% the truth or I would not have written it! You posted in my thread not the other way around. See you are using what Adri said to you but that is not the truth most of what she ever told me was a total lie. I have many witnesses to everything I have written and I didn't even post the really bad stuff yet which I can if you want me too? Again it's the truth which my lawyer said is fine to write and based on all she has done and I don't think I have done anything wrong. I never said anything bad about your company but when it comes to Adri I have known her for close to a year and have many samples of all these things on many cases with many people. You have never met her in person to my knowledge and told Shane you just signed her last week so again you don?t really know her at all. If you want to say stuff about me or my company based on what she said I hope you are very careful I would never say anything about anyone without first hand knowledge but in this case I have plenty of it on her. Here again though, you paint a picture of Adri that is simply not true. As I have said twice already, I am not going to air your dirty laundry, although I could if you want me to. But I wont. I don't believe making disparaging remarks about Adri serves you well, that is my opinion.

For the record, I think you have done a great job with your site Melissa. I am even going to start promoting you because I think you do a great job with melissamidwest.com As for your actions with Adri, her site, and the affiliates promoting that site, I don't feel you have been totally above board.

Finally, 100 more photo sets? 100 more hours of video? In addition to what is already on the site? Adri was with you for 7 months, doesn't sound lazy to me.

That was on July 9th and was only AFTER a post by Adri about her new site. That was the first and only post made by Shane or Melissa about the situation and it was 39 days after Adri was "fired"

We didn't post anything positive or negative on the situation because we were still hoping to get to a good resolution before we announced anything. I wanted to wait till everything was at a better place as to save something like this from happening but I guess in this case that didn't work out. If there is one thing I have learned the hard way in this business it?s you should try and work things out before you open your mouth so I had remained quiet for the last couple weeks on it trying to do that. Again I would have kept mine closed but I have now had Adri try and make me and my company look bad when I did nothing wrong to her then I had her new Photo guy solicit a bunch of my members last week trying to sell her new site and then top that off with you coming into my post and trying to sell her new site enough was enough. I don't want to keep going back and forth on this it only makes it harder for both of us to sell Adri but you don't know her like I do so for you to sit and act like you do is ridiculous to say the least. I know you just want to make money with her and I respect the fact that you are sticking up for her but she fools people very easy she did it to me and all my employees. We thought we knew her very well and we too also believed everything she was saying she was just too sweet not to, but boy did we learn the hard way.

If you start your own thread promoting your new site with Adri I won't have anything to say about it she is now your model not mine and I would never try and make you look bad. I won't go in and say anything negative or try to offers special deals or convince people to promote my Adri site at all. The only way you will ever see me in one of your Adri posts is if you are saying negative things about me or my company and that's it. I posted in YOUR thread, congratulating you and letting people know that Adri had her own site now and was no longer a part of your site. Told people who did well with Adri that we would love to work with them ALSO.

You responded immediately in post 33 by bashing Adri. Saying she was lazy, difficult to work with, couldn't get along with other employees, is unreliable, a thief, and that she has many serious problems thus making her unstable.

You further went on to suggest to people that they should NOT do business with Adri or her new site because she is unstable. Melissa, if you don't think that is actionable, show it to your lawyer. Watch her cringe.

You also state above that you won't offer any special deals to promote Adri. Well, you already have. In the same post, you state that you are considering offering 75% to those who promote your Adri site. That sounds like a special deal to me.

So, I will bow out of YOUR thread now. So much went on that will most likely stay between all of us. I am certain that if some of the other facts came to light, you wouldn't be smelling so sweet. Although, I am sure in person you smell like roses on a country spring morning.

Again all I said was basically people should wait till they know she is here to stay this time since I know first hand how hard it is to work with her (nothing against you or your company). This is for my benefit a little also I won't lie! If she left me and then she would happen to leave you neither of us will have much luck trying to get affiliates to promote her sites. And as for the negative Adri stuff posted by me you can call it what you want but at the end of the day it's the truth, it's documented and many people saw it first hand. Yes this is kind of true I mean she had a problem with EVERYONE for the most part that asked her to do something but Shane more specific he is my ex (for all of you that were hoping to get a date this is your chance I moved out a couple months ago lol)! He managed her more then I did for the fact that I was running my company, traveling for photo shoots doing promotions, bachelor parties and going to school. His job is also to make sure people are busting there butt everyday and doing what they are supposed to do, we never asked Adri to do anything that wasn't either explained to her at the beginning when she was hired or in her contract. I am working close to 80 hours a week but I still worked and shot with her a lot and always knew what was going on with her on a daily basis. A lot of what Shane asked her came from my mouth first. I think part of it was she wanted the control I had over my site and the money I made but I have been doing this for close to 5 years and work 80 hours a week and have for years. You have to put in your time before you can just expect to run everything and 10 hours a week and complaining most the time will not get you much I am sorry! Melissa

ummm..... I think I am just going to stick with Melissa for the long run. Adri seems flakely to me and will just be content. Melissa will always have that special something that keeps recurring.

Melissa that is the problem - you are comparing Adri to yourself. You are a rare breed, what you and your ex went through with Adri if you do this again will just repeat itself over and over again - ask any of the webmasters/photogs who do this. It comes with the territory - you may luck out with a gem sometime but don't expect it. I have a feeling Adri might not be as bad as most models - if you got 100 sets out of her over 7 months you weren't doing badly at all. You cannot expect any model to have the maturity, discipline or work ethic you think she should have - you can expect it but it just won't happen 9 out of 10 girls.

You know maybe you are right but I guess I just figure people should do what they say if you do what you said you would do! I know that is maybe stupid to think after hearing other people?s horror stories but I still did. I think what threw me off was the fact we shot close to 3/4 of those sets the first month and she seemed like such a hard worker and then it all changed very quickly. I am also mad at myself because I knew I should have fired her sooner but I kept giving her more chances thinking she would change.
