In mid to late 2001 it was all Amp & Gary comic relief. A lot of the names mentioned hadn't even registered yet. When you had those two in a thread, add in some Fletch and a few Boneprone characters and Pete TheFly and it was a recipe for fun, and sometimes disaster.

I remember the prohosters cat tossing incident that ended up with me having the police at my door. That little twit from prohosters had the video of him tossing a cat around and I downloaded the videos before he had a chance to delete them. Then I uploaded the videos to my server for everyone to see.

When people were complaining to the ASPCA they were just sending the URL to the videos (on my server) so the cops thought that was ME tossing the cat around since I was hosting the videos. I never heard another peep about it when I showed the police the thread on GFY.

Amp's freakouts were legendary :)
