Sorry I'm still a believer in the good old desktop. Laptops are pricey. The laptop version of you desktop is at least 50% more. In other words if you spend $1000 on a desktop a laptop of the same abilities will cost you $1500. Not to mention if a desktop starts to get old you can upgrade the CPU and graphics card. You can't do that with a laptop. you ca milk a desktop for years. Laptops you'll have to upgrade every 2-3 years. I have a 22" monitor, why give that up for a 17" laptop screen and a little bitty keyboard? yes I know I can hook up a separate monitor and keyboard, but if I'm doing that why bother with a laptop then? When laptops are the same price as desktops and are upgradeable then maybe I'll buy. If I wanted to buy an overpriced non-upgradable computer I'd get an Apple.
