Because the Christianity we have today was created by Paul while he was in Rome. It's not the message Jesus preached in Judea. Paul never met Jesus.

After his death his teachings were carried on by his brother James for around 30 years. In Judea. However the Romans were fighting the Jews at the time and it would of been suicide for Paul to continue preaching as a Jew, he distanced himself from Judea to save himself. Preaching tat the Romans killed Jesus without any pressure from the Jews would not of been a good idea.

You can't find one single, credible historian who was a contemporary of that period who writes about the man we know as Jesus. The only account around was by Josephus who whose work has been debunked many times as a forgery. Someone of his magnitude would have made it into a contemporary history text. He didn't.

All religions are about controlling people and making money. They have little to nothing to do with morals. Otherwise those teaching would not be so corrupt. Even a Pope who was in charge of the Roman Catholic church when it was covering up child abuse is in line to be a saint.
