Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip

I doubt that series will be coming back. It was good, but I don't think the stats were good enough to warrant a return.

Profit and Strange Luck were 2 of my fave fox shows cancelled early.

Dude. Want to talk about robbed.. Block buster here has season 2 and 3 of that.

Finally got them to get season 1 at another store, and then the show was not that good.

Dead Like Me movie is supposed to ship next week, available at Amazon.

I couldn't turn anything up.

Apparently guy that plays Desmond in Lost is in it.

Mostly because they still had 3 kickass seasons.

Action with Jay Mohr was a great one too. Only 1 season.

if they bring it back as a series the series should be good, they made significant changes to the cast of characters, and promoted one of them to be the new leader (assigner of reaps).

They changed characters around a little bit in the past with bringing in the character of Daisy after the first woman left. The premise of the show allows for new characters in and out. They just need to keep George and Mason for me :)

And the Happy Time woman who we are enjoying in Reaper too.

the movie really is missing something overall, and after investigating a bit I found out it wasn't even the same head writer

Profit is a good show. Did not see it when it was on Fox, but Chiller runs episodes.

I came here to say Action, and Profit. Profit is pretty dated from the then-crazy-insane computer graphics, but the storyline is still awesome. Although NewsRadio had 5 seasons, it will never be enough. We still miss you, Phil.

actually that was a reboot pitch, to get it on another network. Failed to get interest at the time. The key was that he didn't have to get a deal quick, because the story would restart some point in the future, new cast, new location. Old cast members would make cameo.

Yea that pissed me off, same with Carnival being canceled early.

As for Dead Like Me, if you're a fan of the show, avoid the movie. I'm going to go out on a limb and say it's the worst movie I've ever seen. I suppose there is one benefit. After watching it, films you had previously only considered 'average' will seem better than ever. Dead Like Me: Life After Death.. It will lower your expectations.

It was intended to be a 5 series saga. There was talk of wrapping it up with a film, but the creator says he has too much material left and feels a movie wouldn't do it justice.

You've got to give Fox credit for how long they ran with Arrested Development. Given the numbers, it's surprising it made it past the first season. They stuck with it 'cause they thought it was something special. A movie is looking more and more likely with every passing week, though.

And if it wasn't for DirecTV, Friday Night Lights wouldn't have made it to a third season.

Does that website have the right to stream that movie or are they ripping the filmmakers off? I didn't think it was even out for rent yet...

I'm a huge fan of West Wing, and even tho is by the same producer , with all the witty dialog, the show never impressed me, and the story was boooooooring

Agreed. I wish Hulu would get the full 5 seasons on there, they don't have any on there now :( love that show.
