I don't think this has anything to do with proving that he wants the job, it's about proving that he is capable of doing the job to begin with. If you are trying to hire a programmer, aren't you going to ask to see his work first?

First of all every single thing you see is because the director wants you to see that. The positions, the angles, the time in those positions the story line to be followed and the characters that they are sopose to be are all from the directors head.

Keep in mind when im shooting i am right at the side of the male performer and i also got a c light guy right next to me. I am looking in the male performers eye mouthing silently or hand signaling things like, open up, slow down, speed up, grab a particular body part of the girl or change position.

A good performer can keep eye contact with me just about the whole scene and stay rock hard. I pointed at two things that made me say you were handeling it unprofessionally
