While money can of course be a great motivator, not everyone is motivated by it. Personally I don't really care how much money I make, as long as I make enough to keep my self happy.

What motivates me is being on my own time and not doing some 9 to 5 grind working for someone else. I like having the ability to do what ever I want, when ever I want. I did the whole busting my ass thing running two business before I was 25 and TBH, I got burt out on it.

Now I like working as little as possible and don't really care if I have a Lambo sitting in my garage or not. Having lots of money is nice and all, but if you have to work non stop to get it, what's the point?

I enjoy being lazy. :)

First of all, let me call bullshit. I just saw you LOL at Teen Revenue and call them dumb I believe, for trying to sue a tube site. THAT (them) is kicking ass, even if they were unable to archive what they wanted. They actually had the balls to step into an unknown arena while everyone else is crying about it, and you LOL'd at them for it. That was very lame on your behalf and not very positive at all. In fact, it was extremely negative, hence my post here. :2 cents:

Couldn't agree more!

The adult industry to me has been more of a liberty then anything. Being able to travel and live the easy life while always making enough not to have any worries.

Sure I could make more but what's the point if you don't have time to enjoy it :)

That being said we're all different, I understand those busting their balls to get to the top, I tried that in my youth and it was a lot of fun but didn't suit me in the long run.

This is a very good point.

A huge part of the old skool webmasters who used to act like 'big players' a few years ago, barely have any serious IT knowledge.

Nowadays, most people can't build a succesful online business anymore with only some basic HTML skill, you actually need some serious programming/css/server etc knowledge to build a modern 2009 site...

idiot :2 cents:

Shap is right, stop bitching and being a crybaby, get Your lazy asses o and work harder.

in fact the business concept has a basic structure at all what ever the business is, things will change, the company the businessmen/companies will grow who could follow the new trends and could come with something new, the rest will cry for a while then give up.

at the same time, my idea is we should consider our so called industry understanding is wider, we shouldn't call our industry is a "porn industry", we should call something wider then that,

it could be even "adult industry" or "online/interweb industry", with that way we can combine shit together and could come up with something new.

i m maybe one of the webmasters here who gave up dialers later then anyone,

when people start switching adsl connection dialers almost dead and we were looking for some new ideas on something similar to dialers,

we were like fishes taken out of the water and didn't know what to do next,

we got 2 options, we would do something new or we would give up,

we didn't give up, we promoted phone sex, sold sex goods then totally adapted to paysites.

that's it, just whining and bitching all day on the boards or keep doing same old shit is not the way of success,we will adapt, work hard and always seek something new, that's the only way imho :2 cents:

Well put. I couldn't have said it better myself.

That's fair enough. Everybody's priorities are different.

Personally I see it as a short term sacrifice for long term freedom. If you do just enough to be happy and get by and be lazy then you'll have to do that for the next 50 years. However, if you bust ass for 10 years you can probably be really lazy for the next 50 ;) That's the way I see it :winkwink:

I've made a bunch of negative posts. If someone is being retarded I don't have a problem calling them out on it. I haven't made any negative threads (or at last any I can remember).

I give teenrevenue points for trying but at the end of the day it was a retarded lawsuit. I hope they fired their lawyer.

You and Sleazy aren't anything like Lars, that I'm aware of.

It's a big difference between being an asshole and being a douche bag that stole from people he called friends. Normally criminals and scammers, are interesting people.

All the more reason they deserve no respect for the success they have gotten.

I'm not sure how comfortable you are with it but I truly believe the future of solo girl sites is really letting the surfer into your life. If you do that you'll probably hook them for life. Just think of big brother and all these reality shows. Or even Twitter. Everybody loves to post (and to read) what everyone is doing all day long. If you do that there is huge potential.

We are trying to build a network of those solo model sites interacting as much as possible with the members on www.lifestyleamateurs.com

The theory is, the closer we can get the member to the model, the longer he will stay a member.

If it shall work, the models has to be REAL and don't make it up.

If you are smart and a hard worker there is a world of opportunity in our industry right now. It won't jump out at you. But it's there. You'll have to work and work hard to find it but it's there.
