the typical arrogance of liberalism. you think everyone is too stupid to live without you and your compassion and can't take care of themselves.

:thumbsup Right on, Dr. Phil of GFY. lol

This is serious Rangermoore. The Black Panthers will oogaa your boogga. You don't want to mess with them. I strongly suggest that you quickly download and watch the movie Under Cover Brother, and then contact any black persons who post on this board, to see if they can give you pointers on what not to do or say to these bad dudes when they show up at your door.

Ohhhhh and one more thing......as you know these doods are steeped in the culture of the 70's, so you would do well to rehearse and practice any version of the black soul salute or handshake you can remember. You want to make them feel at home.

They might put a foot up yo ass, or who knows, they might go easy on you.:1orglaugh

Here is what Linda Douglass, the communications director for the White House?s Health Reform Office had to say,

"There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care. These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation. Since we can?t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we?re asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to [email protected].

Good Lord. It says the rumors propagate through casual conversation, which is a fact. The WH wants to know about the substance of the rumors, not the names and addresses of the casual conversants. Are you seriously this goddamn stupid?

Yeah, I don't think the administration is looking to punish anyone. They are simply interested in seeing if the emails and ideas are indeed simply public opinion, which would be totally ok, or if they are coming from some organized source with a biased and probably financial interest in derailing something that might be good for the country as a whole. These types of interests should not be allowed to anonymously lobby the public at large.

If the opposition to the healthcare plan is being generated by selfish corporate interests, the public should have a right to know that.

Thus the administration appears to be acting with an interest in consumer protection here.

you must also factor in the fact that much of the anti-demo-healthcare propaganda is republican party generated.

:thumbsup
