It´s gonna be tough, but I wouldn´t say "death group".... anyway, it´s gonna be interesting to watch what can Ronaldo does against the current best defense in the world.

This is a very defensive team of Brazil, so it will be really hard to make a goal.

I think it is the US by far...Algeria and Slovenia are two of the weakest teams in the whole tournament...if US cannot get out of this group they do not deserve to be there.

Both Brazil and Portugal and Spain have the best defenses in the world, Ronaldo hasn't proved himself in international play yet in my opinion so he would have to step up his game in order for Porto to beat them...(this coming from his biggest fan here)

My prediction for the group to watch for suprises is group d, Germany have been on sticky ground this last few years and Australia was one of the suprise teams last time around. could be an interesting group.

People forget that only a little over two years ago Portugal were considered the best team in Europe, they had difficulties qualifying because they couldn't put the ball in the back of the net but they still played good football.

think the people of Cameroon would disagree especially considering fifa has ranked them higher... Algeria is close behind too... so its hardly clear cut who's the best in Africa i would say...

Slovenia is not weak, they have a similar strenght to Croatia or Serbia, I think the weakest team will be North Korea and New Zealand.

I would say Portugal has not a chance against Ivory Coast...those guys are vsery good and also tough, while Portugal is full with girlish crybabies.

I think France has a group where they don't have a chance with Domenech and should end up 4th. South Africa has to go to the playoffs...well, because FIFA is corrupt, if they weren't, they wouldn't vote for South Africa in the first place. Mexico and Uruguay are good enough to beat France even if they had a better form, which they don't have right now.

Don't know much about North korea, but New Zealand are certainly a weak side...

Yeah but they only do that so that they can go even harder on the attack when we lose. Papers like The Sun only want two results - either for England to win or for them to really embarrass themselves. Either way they get to go big on coverage and prey on passions to sell papers. Anything in between doesn't help their circulation.

Yes, USA has definitely a realistic chance to go to the playoffs, but it will be hard and the players have to know it. If they underestimate Slovenia, it won't end good.
