LOL at the people who hated Rita because she was bitchy/nagging/whatever. I wasn't a huge fan of her character either, but it was due to poor and inconsistent writing. They couldn't decide what her real personality was so they just had her act however they needed a "generic wife" character to act at the time to further the plot line with Dexter. If they needed her to flip out over nothing, she did. If they needed her to overlook something really big, she did. She wasn't a bitch, she had no personality at all.

A couple of years ago when babelogs were the big thing, we looked around for a guy to build it from scratch for us. A few interested parties approached, and we settled for fris.

It was a disaster from the get-go.

It took over half a year to complete, and after we accepted to pre-pay the build almost stopped to a halt. Only after several attempts to contact him did he choose to finish the site.

The result was that the scripts didn't work as they were supposed to and it seemed he had just rushed the build those last few days (hours)?

The site was useless and we had to dump the babelog for which we paid over $1500 for if I recall correctly.

We learned the hard way never to a) work with fris again and b) prepay for anything.

It's pretty much the only show I watch.

I've learned my lesson though. I'm gonna block GFY at router level for next season's finale.

Hopefully by then fris will have choked on a big fat black dick.

And alas the TV drama thread finds some real drama.

This is what I have been saying all season. Very inconsistently written character a result of lazy writing.

I like the show, don't get me wrong, but many peaks and valleys in way of how it's written. While some of what they put together on Dexter is pretty smart, they do tend to dissapoint with cliff hangers that wind up getting glossed over.

I was so disappointed with the writers this season, and the dumb ending was just one more piece of it.

They should have killed off LaGuerta and Batista instead. Now THERE'S a worthless storyline.

The show was sliding downhil and I was hoping Dexter would flip out and kill all of his family.

But in the end it turned out better than expected. The pool of blood is ironic.

If you're looking for a typical "everything turns out happy happy joy joy" show, I can see why this ending disappointed you. I thought it was genius. The show exceeded expectations yet again.

I did not expect a happy joy joy ending, and I still did not like it. The writing was sloppy.

After waiting on your useless designer for month(s) to finish the design and to be integrated then doing everything you asked, which was very vague, Yes I did complete it, you never mentioned to me that you were disatisifed of any sort, you had no complaints while working with me, if you did, I would have corrected it, or refunded your money.

But none of this was brought to my attention.

You are the first to be not satisifed with my work.

You didnt even put the site to work, 1 week after I finished it, it was not updated, just spam posts.

Oh my god, Fris... I congratulate you. That was fucking amazing. Seriously.. I haven't seen Sunday's episode yet, but for fuck sakes dude, I applaud you for this thread... I'm so amazed at how people get so pissed off over being told what happens in a show..

You can tell me the complete season storyline before I watch it, and will still enjoy it just as much as if I didn't know...

That being said, with this spoil, I need to fucking see it asap... Been to busy to download it though... Gonna download it tonight and watch it though.

I find that a little hard to believe.

I can understand still enjoying it. It is kind of like watching a movie you have already seen or reading a book you have already read. You know what is going to happen, but you still enjoy it. But I would be willing to bet you don't enjoy it as much as the first time you saw or read it and had no idea how things were going to turn out.

Totally opposite for me... Someone telling me something as juicy as this makes me wanna see it for myself more than going and seeing it first hand...

If you love being spoiled, do you then dislike being surprised like Clint Eastwood?

Dexter is a great show. i doubt they'd make him a single father tho going into the next season. if he is, he'll get caught and executed for sure. he nearly got caught as a husband with 3 kids.

i look forward to Deb getting deeper info about what she discovered about Dexter in the finale. season 5 will probably see her on the blood trail. there i said something without spoiling it haha

i thought they shot themselves in the foot when they killed Doakes.
killing Rita cut the whole damn foot off and crammed it up their ass until they tasted it.

what is interesting about dexter is NOT that he kills people. it's his interactions with the people around him and learning how to be a human through them. without Doakes there was no pressure on the legal angle.
without Rita, the entire duality of the character is shot.

I'm not looking forward to next season for the following reason: it looks like the whole season is going to be dealing with the aftermath from the last episode. Dex has no alibi for the murder, and the murder doesn't fit trinity's pattern, so people will ask ALOT of questions about why dex sent the kids away, where he was while the murder was taking place, etc etc etc.

I'll watch it and find out, but i do not have high hopes for next season.

Cant wait for next season, The writers for that show haven't failed me yet. Id expect next season to be just as exciting and shocking as this past one.

So far the show hasn't been picked up for the 6th season, just the 5th, so next season will likely be his descent into deeper madness and Deb finally figuring out who he really is...
Dexter has never been destined to have a happy ending in his life. he's a serial killer and they tend to have short shelf lives.

Next season will definitely be interesting, especially if the writers know it will for sure be the last season. What I don;t want to see is for it to turn into a 12 part episode of a courtroom drama...I don't want Dexter Vs. Law and Order.

I know lithgow had done something to Dexter when he was about to be killed and said "its already over". But I was shocked when Rita was dead, I did not expect that at all and I can usually predict most Hollywood story lines.

Glad Eric caught this and changed the title before I was on GFY the other night because I had not seen it. Just watched it and came back to this thread. Fris is not banned for that?
