Because if the cardiac arrest my money is on cocaine. Also, everyone I've known who's had a speed problem has always blamed it on asthma. :disgust |

All I'm saying is stop being a cockfag and shitting on people who have some compassion for someone who died way before her time. |

According to reports, Brittany Murphy was fired from an upcoming film that was shooting in Puerto Rico for being difficult on set and a detriment to production. We're not sure which film, but Murphy's IMDB profile indicates that this film may have been The Caller, which also stars True Blood cast member Stephen Moyer. It took about 15 seconds for Brittany to be replaced, too. Twilight and New Moon star Rachelle Lefevre reportedly hopped on a plane as soon as Murphy was out. A source also says that Brittany was so pissed about getting booted from the film that she didn't want to leave Puerto Rico and had "plans to sabotage the film." That would qualify her as a Grade A nut job. The really interesting part of Brittany's movie set ouster was that the weird British con-artist she married in 2007, Simon Monjack, got into a fight with some locals. Could there be a connection between the whole Puerto Rico incident and Monjack arriving at LAX airport "incoherent" and having to be hospitalized Saturday? Murphy thought that Simon Monjack was having an asthma attack, but medical personnel boarding the plane evidently felt it might be even more serious. Con-jack was released from the hospital last night and even picked up some burgers before heading home, but it makes you wonder ... burgers? Really Simon?! Not an objective article, but if even partially true, it does paint a poor picture of both (and lends more credence to the drug theory). |
:Oh crap

I remember the day Elvis died. I remember the day John Lennon died. I remember when Jimmy Hendrix died. These were real celebrities worthy of global news. Will I remember a 2nd rate actress who made a few flicks? I'll forget by the time I log off. Sure, it's sad. A human died. But that is what people do, they die. If she moved people, created something amazing or inspired millions, it would be sadder. I'm sure you can find a list of plenty of nobodies who died today. |
Don't they die in 3s? So who's next?

I was actually looking in to see who this person was, as I had never heard of her before. |
No threads for soldiers who died today?
Why is it always celebs? |
Heh.
Brainwashed sheep like the people in this thread create the demand that enables paparazzi to stalk celebs 24/7. Then, when those celebs buckle under the stress and eventually OD, their sentimental side takes over, and they whine and moan about how they were "too young". Pathetic, really. If you like an actor, singer or whatever, watch their films or buy their albums, and respect their privacy. |
Rest In Peace. And in line with what Les posted above, RIP goes to all others that passed away this week.

WOW shocking!! she was an amazing actress! :(

I'm going to call it now, she died of an OD of some kind. Who dies at that age, naturally, from cardiac arrest? |

Whether it's music, acting or sports it's something that the majority of people with access to some type of media can relate to. On the other hand with the exception of the top brass, soldiers are faceless. It truly is ass backwards and a shame. I believe that people like Soldiers, Teachers, Doctors and good leaders are the true heros and should be treated as such. I'd much rather see a really great teacher get an NBA player's salary instead of the relatively small change they get now for such an important position. So when a person dies that's in the public's eye people talk about it because they are someone most can relate to in one way or another. It doesn't mean their death was any more important than that of a soldier the public doesn't know. |
Did she do any nudes? =P

Anorexia related is my guess.

Fuck me - stop being such a douche bag. It's not about a lack of compassion or empathy, by not recognising each and every person who died on a certain day. People have seen and enjoyed the work(s) of people like Brittany, then to hear of her death at such a young age is quite saddening. Is it sad that all these children die everyday - yes - however the difference is they are nameless and faceless to the world at large. Put a name, face and personality to them and guess what...... Then add into the equation that due to their celeb *status* the Brittany types in the world are seen as a success and people desire to follow in their footsteps. Success - money - adored by many - beautiful - blah blah blah... |
this is sad :(

In Britain, certainly, accident and emergency doctors have reported seeing an increasing number of cases of chest pain brought on by cocaine, and in particular by cocaine and alcohol mixed. It seems that, in this country at least, our insatiable thirst for booze ? and lots of it ? on a Friday night is encouraging injudicious and excessive cocaine use.
The combination of a lot of alcohol and cocaine puts an acute strain on the cardiovascular system ? even more than either booze or cocaine taken on its own. In a small number of cases it can kill, suddenly. If it?s true, as seems to be the case, that more people than before are regularly over-doing things in this way, then we will see more sudden deaths in the 20 to 40 age group. |
That's sad :( I loved her and thought she was beautiful. I don't think there's a movie with her in it that I haven't seen.
I just found out checking stats on my celeb blog and was shocked to see traffic up and all of the new traffic is to an older post of Brittany Murphy, so I was like WTF and went to check my position and that's when I saw a link to one of the news articles. |

My aunt died at 31 of an aortic aneurysm, and she wasn't a cokehead. She was a heavy smoked, and that probably had something to do with it, but she certainly wasn't a druggy. You CAN die of heart related complications at a young age without being full of drugs...
That being said, it is Hollywood and there is a certain likelihood. :1orglaugh But seriously, that one is a big shocker. I'd bet no one picked Britany in the celebrity deathpool. it's a shame, I found her really sexy in a "trailer park princess" sort of way... |
