Never had any issues, at one point they though I had some serious blood disorder and I just kept with my $20 copays and eventually they realized it was nothing after 6 months of tests and other BS. They did exactly what they were there for. Sure, it is scary how they knock some people off the insurance if they get cancer or something etc etc but that can be taken care of with a simple law, not some crazy, dramatic, health care ice capade extravaganza. LOL

And sorry, but anyone who would opt for a new tv over even basic health care shouldn't bitch about how they cannot afford health care, that just sounds sooo ridiculous. My health is more important than HD tv lol.

I go by real polls, not GFY polls. I am sorry if the real polls make you cry since you are in the minority of people that want this to pass. :2 cents:

To pay for the changes, the legislation includes more than $400 billion in higher taxes over a decade, roughly half of it from a new Medicare payroll tax on individuals with incomes over $200,000 and couples over $250,000. A new excise tax on high-cost insurance policies was significantly scaled back in deference to complaints from organized labor.

In addition, the bills cut more than $500 billion from planned payments to hospitals, nursing homes, hospices and other providers that treat Medicare patients. An estimated $200 billion would reduce planned subsidies to insurance companies that offer a private alternative to traditional Medicare.

The insurance industry warned that seniors would face sharply higher premiums as a result, and the Congressional Budget Office said many would return to traditional Medicare as a result.

The subsidies are higher than those for seniors on traditional Medicare, a difference that critics complain is wasteful, but insurance industry officials argue goes into expanded benefits.

Oh yeah. We're all gonna die. Obama just wants to fuck the country and put it in the crapper. Here's the deal. This entire health care bill could have been paid for by the cost of the war in Iraq. Duh....morons with a keyboard.

The Demon 03-21-2010 07:09 PM

Great logic. And we wouldn't have an economic crisis if people didn't spend outside their means. And if you went to school, you wouldn't be this stupid. Ooooo i raher like cause and effect.

Actually could have been paid for with LESS THAN HALF THE MONEY LOST by giving the top 2% of the country a tax break.

8 years of douchebaggery finally coming to an end. What a difference an intelligent person in the White House can make!

Go back to your GFY polls since you are not bright enough to follow real polls.

JaneB 03-21-2010 07:12 PM

Guess Obama may not get his way after all.

Bills and resolutions have been introduced in at least 36 state legislatures seeking to limit or oppose various aspects of the reform plan through laws or state constitutional amendments, according to the National Conference of State Legislatures.

"There's going to be a big free-for-all lawsuit about this," said Michael Bird, legislative counsel for the NCSL

Many states cite the 10th Amendment, which says "powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states," as proof that the U.S. government cannot set their healthcare laws.
