Listen, I'm trying to make this thing better for the submitters. Eventually once we trust our group we can take off some of the restrictions, and let you post more often, in more categories, and things like that. We already have all the submissions we need, but I'd like to freshen up the crop.

I am acutally sure that Shemp, Zilla, Hun and others would help me do background checks on you guys, as putting cheaters out of business and finding good people is good for our whole group.

I personally do not have a problem with TGPs going to partner modes, asking to meet you, phone you or a reference. On their end, it reduces cheating and junk submits since they only deal with people they know/want.

On the submit end, you build a nice working relationship and know your submits will get action verses competing with 2000+ submits a day, 95% of which are complete shit. Too much 'noise'.

Fact is, while some people will get pissed about partnership only TGPs, the TGP will have no problem finding even 100 webmasters to do it. The main person who will get mad/screwed is the one who is not networking, wants to remain behind the curtain, the newbie, etc.. With the extreme over saturation of our industry, it is only a matter of time before this all comes to be.

But to each his own. The old 'I help you keep your tgp going' statement/argument was valid years ago when there were little submits. Today, it just is not even a point of concern due to the enormous amount of people submitting. I also think most of your higher quality webmasters/owners will gladly jump in on the partnership & paid listing platform.

Actually, they do do that. It's called a credit check, and it's done everytime you swipe a credit card, or finance a car, or take out a loan. Someone is backing your debt with their bank account and betting that you will pay it. Because if you don't, they lose. Well, I have no one to pay me if I get my traffic re-directed, so I have to run credit checks on all of you.

it really could change.

i was surprised when checked out the quality of the TGP that was always sending lots of chinese traffic after a year. it changed a lot, now i'm making pretty normal $ from their traffic (a sale per 50k pageviews - not brilliant, but okay)

so i'm going to try pichunters' traffic once again. i'm running CTR counter on tgp traffic and it's easy to tell is it ok or not.
