Should we only be concerned about large populations of a different language?

Asian 2.8
Other 3.4"

Here's your assertion..."From what I see and based off the number of people, White people collect FAR more welfare than Blacks and Latino combined, the population difference is huge."

Please explain how you came to your conclusion.

White: 4,701,013 = 1,823,993 people on welfare
Black: 210,069 = 78,145 people on welfare
Hispanic: 1,785,737 = 317,861 people on welfare

78,145 + 317,861 = 396,006

Difference of 1.4 million more whites on welfare. So really we could say, whites collect more welfare than all other races combined together.

Where are these numbers from and what do they represent?

38.8% of welfare recipients are white
37.2% are black
17.8 are hispanic

Which means blacks and hispanics combined comprise 55% of welfare recipients. Which is greater than 38.8%

This is very basic stuff... when you have an astounding amount more of one thing, it's going to be a larger amount even if the other two are added together. As I said in the original quote you shared of mine, "the population difference is huge."

There is a solution to this problem like they do in Europe. The Government there finds you a (any) job and if you refuse they cut your benefits. :2 cents:

How do I know if they hired illegals and it sounds like someone did report them...

Of course kids aren't going to farm for 14 hours a day for $10 in 120 heat and farms can't pay them the legal wage. That's why farms have easy immigration paths to take for harvest time and don't need illegals.

The real solution to our problem is to make it criminal to hire illegals.. like Oklahoma did, which of course nobody went off the handle about.

That's not the percentage of white people that are on welfare, it's the percentage of people on welfare that are white. Difference in population has nothing to do with it.

Your hate for his actions is rather crazy when every single president has done what he has.

Name a president that has bowed to another foreign leader, you think Reagan did?
And yes, drop kick the SOB, Obama knew what he was going to say before he said it, you know that!

Bush sent 6k worth, on top of what was already at the border to help monitor the build. He then reduced it back but not all the way.. leaving 1000's here to work with the crap system he put in place.

300 miles is about the length of the AZ border.

Actually, I'm a bit happier to find out he might send them across the entire border, even though our state asked for 1500 in the bill. I don't support the current 6k being asked for, I'm not much for having a war zone 10 minutes from my house even though it looks like it will happen sooner or later.

Knowing many more troops are coming, I'm willing to share.

Why would they need to state the number? Did they state how many troops are here and how much it beefed it up? They didn't simply point out that Bush did it to monitor the failed build of the wall. ABC simply reported what happened, nothing else.

Yeah, we can find articles going back for a long time where the local and state found out through the press. Chances are he announced it, then they called up and ask if they knew about, right when the person showed up to the work 2 hours later.

Your hate towards the left/liberal ideas or this gov/obama is so misguided that it's truly pathetic. Basically if he/they don't do 'exactly' what you want - it's the worst damn thing in the world and our Country is about to burn down over it.

Get over it.... our Country is still here.
I don't have a hate for the government, just the asshole in charge, just like I'm sure you said the same thing when Bush was in office, so fuck off in those statements

The number was left out in the news release, because it compares what Bush did to what Obama is doing, Obama is sending about a fifth of what Bush sent and I have yet to see a news report to state where they are going, it says they are going to the border, not to the Arizona border.

You keep calling me pathetic, is that the best you have?
I don't like high debt
I don't like having the best military on the planet and have my leader bowing to leaders of third world nations
I hate political correctness when dealing with terrorist.
I hate the government passing huge bills for entitlements saying they are going to save money and not really knowing if they will or not just to find out later they don't save, they cost.
I hate a president that runs on promises he hasn't kept, and comparing that to past presidents makes it right in your book, you're a fucking tool for even saying that!

Ok, then the US comes in and gives money and training to very bad men. The money comes from selling weapons (bombs) to another country, then funneling that money illegally into my country. Not only do they bring in money, but they train these guys on how to lay landmines. Not militarily strategic placements, no. They lay these landmines outside of villages where thousands of innocent civilians blow up by stepping on them. Still with me? Because in addition to all this, your country also sells cocaine in my country to raise money.

The end result is that my country is left in absolute shambles. It'll take decades to properly fix up.

Recently large demonstrations have taken place
across the country protesting the fact that Congress
is finally addressing the issue of illegal immigration.

Certain people are angry that
The US might protect its own
borders, might make it harder
to sneak into this country and,
once here, to stay indefinitely.

Let me see if I correctly understand
the thinking behind these protests.
let's say I break into your house.
let's say that when you discover
me in your house, you insist that I leave.

But I say, 'No! I like it here.
it's better than my house. I've made all
the beds and washed the
dishes and did the laundry
and swept the floors. I've
done all the things you don't
like to do. I'm hard-working
and honest
(except for when I broke into your house).

according to the protesters:
You are Required to let me stay in your house
You are Required to feed me
You are Required to add me to your family's insurance plan
You are Required to Educate my kids
You are Required to Provide other benefits to me & to my family
(my husband will do all of your yard work because
He is also hard-working and honest, except for that
Breaking in part).

If you try to call the police or force me out,
I will call my friends who will picket your
house carrying signs that proclaim my
RIGHT to be there.

It's only fair, after all, because you have
a nicer house than I do, and I'm just
trying to better myself. I'm a hard-working
and honest, person, except for well,
you know, I did break into your house
and what a deal it is for me!!!

I live in your house, contributing only a
fraction of the cost of my keep, and
there is nothing you can do about it
without being accused of cold, Uncaring,
selfish, prejudiced, and Bigoted behavior.

Oh yeah, I DEMAND that you learn

I never really thought about it this way.

If your Mexican and your here legally, welcome to the United States. You can be my friend.

If your here illegally, driving a car without insurance, not paying taxes, sucking down my resources, and jacking up my health insurance because you go to the ER because you don't have your own insurance and need medical assistance.... Fuck off.

His campaign on pulling out of the war was the Iraq war. he said he would be sending more troops to Afgan from day one, and people support that. He did miss his pull out deadline for Iraq, but he did pull troops as well and also stated it would be years before they all could be removed.

All in all, Afgan happened faster than expected and Iraq is taking longer.

Re: Protests

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/March_2...ti-war_protest

On March 20, 2010, thousands marched by the White House in Washington, DC, to protest the U.S. wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. The event was organized by A.N.S.W.E.R. and other groups. The scheduling of the event ties it to the seventh anniversary of the start of the U.S. invasion of Iraq in 2003

I remember hearing about it on the TV.

Seventh year, thats going well isn't it?

That's working out real well down in the Gulf.

They have better valves that shut off automatically, but the Government doesn't make them use them, before that, our record was pretty damn good

Yes but this is quite disturbing to me that we are too worried about whether our field workers have a piece of paper in their pocket than we are about the complete destruction of the Gulf of Mexico.

Just because it isn't going well doesn't mean those people should stop protesting.

Clinton and Bush both bowed before other people... I don't care to lookup all the rest that have show some type of respect equal how that country accepts it.

I don't remember Bush ever doing it, I don't care if Clinton did it

I had a problem with him telling lies, forcing us into a war, over taking a country that never attacked us, and so on...

If you don't have a problem with that, then it speaks volumes about your character.

I didn't want war with either, I've been in the middle of it and it's fucked and I don't want to loose any american soldiers

Okay? It's how your Country works and has worked before you were born.
And that makes it right, thats been your answer for all of Obamas short commings?

What the hell does that have to do with each other?

Reagan , when he took office in 1980, Iranian prisoners were released, maybe Obama could learn something, he can't even get some college kids released from the same country.

That's because you don't have to do business with the World.
I don't do business with terrorist and the president shouldn't be

So basically you have every reason to hate Reagan, different cup of tea but still the same shit.
WTF are you talking about?

I wasn't aware every president kept every promise made.. I wasn't aware it was always possible, but it was still something they wanted. And I guess I don't expect him to do everything he said he would in 2 years.

Sure, I would have loved us to mostly pull out of the Iraq war, but as stated when he was elected - it's a f'ed up place that has to be taken care of, one that we screwed up.
Again, thats your response to all the lies and short commings, other presidents have done it, so it's OK?

He doesn't call'em Radical Christian Extremists either... which they are.

OK, again, WTF are you talking about?

I have seen his brown eyes many times...
from the side of his eyes maybe, watch a speech, he can't get his eyes off the telepromter, yet he still makes mistakes, like 57 states of the US?

Where did you get that?

The only people that can do anything about sealing the hole is BP, yet government officials have said they are going to take over, yeah right. If I wasn't so busy this next month, I wold go with my brother to help with the clean up.

I would help at the border, but it's too dangerous, people get killed there.
