Bah...would have added that to my Honorable Mentions but couldn't think of it. Such a painfully true movie that it's hard to know whether to laugh or cringe.

Lawrence of Arabia
Ronin
Godfather
Lock Stock and 2 Smoking Barrels
The Life of Brian

See, for these lists I always have to ask 'top 5 what?' because I know there is a difference between my top 5 favourite films vs the top 5 films in term of quality. A few of my fave films are just silly but they are fun.

So, I will go with top 5 favourite and then I come up with:

Clerks
City Of God
Rocky Horror Picture Show
Dogma
Goonies

I am very sure they aren't the best made movies I have ever seen (with City of God being one that would make that list too) but they are 5 that I always enjoy watching.

some of the favos here:

Scareface (absolutely my #1)
Die hard (all parts)
Terminator 2
Casino
Pulp fiction
Good fellas
Shawshank redemption

But there a shitload more which i consider to be favorite, so it too damn hard to make a top 5

boneless 09-09-2010 04:52 AM

Surprised no-one mentioned MiddleMen yet
