there are MILLIONS of similar copyright infringements all over the Internet, the lawyers working for the music companies smelled big money because RK is one of the world's largest online porn companies. they aren't suing one of the thousands of mom and pop porn companies with unlicensed popular music on their videos. The first rule of suing anybody is knowing that whoever you're suing is financially worth what you're seeking in damages. Lawyers especially these types who are probably working on contingency aren't interested in pyrrhic victories - they want the MONEY.
of course if there was no copyrighted music they wouldn't be being sued at all- thanks for reminding me Captain Oblivious
