try loosing your home and most everything you worked for your whole life for cause you got robbed multiple times and fucked on a refinance deal cause the stock market crashed a month before you were ready to deal with it.

The guy who committed suicide in part due to Epassporte fucking him would pity you, but he's dead. Dead people can't pity anyone unfortunately, sorry.

WiredGuy 10-05-2010 02:57 PM

I would reserve gratitude once payments have been made back to those who are owed on wallet and visa. Chris ran a great business for 7 years, no doubt about that, but the next few weeks is when people will judge his actions. I realize Visa has a lot of power at the present moment, but I'd wait until payments are made (or the lack thereof) before saying thanks.

dude - ANY company can have their assets frozen from the government - or a bank - at ANY TIME. it's a risk you take in business. WAKE UP.

I doubt Chris's other assets are totally liquid to be able to pay everything out instantly.

This will take time to play out.

I believe Chris will pay everyone back. Just my sense of it. my gut tells me he will. I know everyone is MAD epass is gone -we all LOVED IT and want to blame someone. I get that.

Fix the problem - no one gets blamed. it just will take time with a VERY impatient crowd

I usually don't like asskissing, but I kind of agree with SleazyDream here IF all wallet money gets paid and IF St Kitts bank opens the Visa accounts.

Epassporte was a great, easy and cheap way of getting money fast in my country.

The only thing I don't like is the lack of good communication about the situation

come on Kristin - We ALL knew Chris choose to work with gambling - it wasn't a big secret, and we all CHOOSE to continue to work with epassporte KNOWING the risks...if the gambling was a huge issue for you, why continue to use them?

I had no money in the wallet - and lost what I had on the visa.

I honestly hope you get your money back, I know you guys had a lot more in there then I ever did.

I lost no money on this personally and I would only take ePass from those who absolutely had to send it. I was down to one payment per month for $500. I never kept money in there, I never trusted it. But we had to use it if we wanted that payment each month.

Eh, we had $40k in there for TB, won't break us if we don't get it back. I'm not so upset about the money (probably b/c I lost none) but the principle behind Chris' actions is what just floors me.

Exactly.

All we got were a couple nonspecific bullshit messages where Chris painted himself as some kind of hero and victim. He was sitting in Cabo sipping margaritas while people's businesses were being destroyed and (at least) one guy offed himself.

Fuck him.

when you have zero credibility (sleazy) you have nothing to lose to jump the gun defending someone, it's not like he is going to make his rep here any worst and maybe Chris will see this and give Sleazy a hand out in the future. Really, Scottie can't lose by making this thread.

People aren't mad because their beloved system is no longer, people are mad because a millionaire who continues funds millions dollar projects is not speaking up, taking responsibility, sending in Michael O to deliver the bombs, and well frankly, his teeth. :)

Good play on your part, you lost credibility with everyone here, so sucking up and defending the guy a lot of people are mad at may get you some brownie points with him and perhaps a few hand outs. Not like people here are going to like you any less for it, they already don't like you.

you're assuming I HAD credibility to start with? :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh

nt99 10-05-2010 03:07 PM

I can only assume this thread is some kind of joke that I don't understand.

You're seriously thanking the man behind a business holding millions of dollars of our money and (as of my last login to epass) completely unable to do ANYTHING except click "log off"?

I think you need to meet some new people because I assure you, there are better people than this to make praiseful threads about.

Agreed, but writing a letter is the same as copy and pasting it on a board. He didn't have to send Michael in to hit Control + V.

Anyone else notice that none of the messages since the bank yanked Visa and ePass was left with just the wallet, have said that our funds are safe? All the ones before that did.

Unfortunately things outside of chris's control brought the company down. It happens.

I'm sad to see it go.

But i want to be one of the first to say - thank you chris - for everything you did do and everything you tried to do for the people in this industry.

At the end of the day - you did a lot more then most and don't let the whinny babies get you down.

The only reason you'd need a legal adviser on this topic is if you were about to fuck thousands of people over.

you didn't read right, I said you had already lost all credibility with people here (prior to this post), per your own admissions your "friends" all went away when your money went away. Then your whole yes signals, greatest thing since slice bread fiasco was the icing on the cake to the few people left who thought you were smart but just had bad luck.

At least when tgps were popular and you had some traffic, back 6-8 years ago you had some cred, but now you need to pull stunts like this to try to kiss up to some people.

yeah, because when you go on vacation while people and companies are going out of business, and people are killing themselves... that is not terrible. The fact that he never personally addressed any of his clients over the last month is terrible. The fact that he gave no facts, assurances, or explanations, is terrible.

But if he throws a going out of business party, I am sure you will think that is awesome :thumbsup :GFYBand:drinkup

Yes, things happen outside one's control and it can have a detrimental effect, however knowing you lost money how can you defend Chris when you know he still has millions? Also, this is a guy who three weeks before all the shit went down took time to post on GFY about his movie. Yet, something that makes WAAAAAAAY more money in one day than Middle Men ever will, he is MIA for. I guess it was nice that he posted on Facebook about enjoying his time in Cabo - on September 28th!

bolsex 10-05-2010 03:46 PM

Yeah ePass worked and helped a lot! But this is not enough to people who still have funds in ePass!

targetpro 10-05-2010 03:47 PM

Really though in all seriousness, the guy is an idiot for flaunting his quasi-legal processing empire through a self-funded movie. How can you respect this guy?

Sleazy, although I did not lose any money with this, I feel bad for my fellow adult industry workers who were effected. I will not defend epass or Chris despite what parties he may have thrown or how nice he was to me. That does not help people pay rent or bills. Try to understand the anger they must feel.

J. Falcon 10-05-2010 04:03 PM

Machete_ 10-05-2010 04:05 PM

Sleazy, you're a fucking retard.

Mallick used our money to fund his piece of shit movie. Where do you think 20mil came from?
That's why epassporte is dead now and webmasters are out of their money.

It was NOT due to any things out of his control. It was deliberate fuck up on his part.

scottybuzz 10-05-2010 04:11 PM

let's look at this from someone who has nothing to do with ass kissing or industry parties.

I have had money frozen in my account, is it lost? I don't know but I am very anxious and worried, I have lots of cash liquidity problems as a result too. I pay my epass annual fee and I pay transaction fees. I have done nothing wrong here and yet I am in the shit.

With your logic I am supposed to like the guy in charge because he threw some good parties a few years ago I did not even attend? ( or was invited too )

What is that logic?

I think I have a right to be pissed off.

CYF 10-05-2010 04:19 PM
