What happened with option to load money with credit card? Last info you gave me was that it will be ready in one month, but that period passed. Any news or precise answer?

How about ACH withdrawal?

I don't know an exact time, but both of these option will be available soon enough. As soon as I hear more I will let people know. I know that you wanted a more precise answer, but this is all I have at the moment.

RuthB 11-22-2010 12:10 PM

Both ACH loading/withdrawing and CC loading/withdrawing are pending. We are doing our best to make these additions as quickly as possible, and we will be sure to inform our clients when these options are actively available.

femdomdestiny 11-22-2010 12:37 PM

It is confusing this way and having additional costs. thank you anyway for fast answer.

The Usual Suspect 11-22-2010 12:46 PM

Crap, I thought it was a lot more as well, since the max per day is $2500.

What do you need 300 withdrawals a month for then....so you can take out $33.3 x 300 times...?

Dreamteam 11-22-2010 01:28 PM

There was no such thing as a MAX $10.000 monthly withdrawal limit (ATM).

This is new ... seems paxum lowered the max withdrawal limit (atm per month).

NOT COOL

:(

With our rapid growth, some users tried taking advantage of our system. As of this week we enforced the $10,000.00 per month maximum load limit on our Paxum Prepaid Mastercards. This has been done to weed out people who wanted to use Paxum to launder money and put other Paxum Account Holders at risk. We are sorry that this might have affected other honest webmasters and we are working to find a compromise. We estimate that within a few weeks we will allow webmasters to increase those limits, so please bare with us.

Please note that this limit only applies to Paxum Prepaid Master Card and not to the whole Paxum ewallet account. Verified users can receive UNLIMITED amount of money per month in their account and use/withdraw it as they see fit by check, wire, or Paxum credit card. The Credit card has a 10,000.00 monthly limit as we feel that the big majority of cardholders don't need more than 10,000.00 monthly from an ATM in hard cash. For those that make and earn more money they can withdraw as much as they wish by wire transfer or check transfer.

We at Paxum are here for the long run and have many more exciting features coming out in the near future. We will not jeopardize the integrity of our system by allowing Paxum to be used by questionable individuals and we will not protect or make concessions for those less than 1% of accounts that are trying to abuse Paxum. Thank you for your understanding. :)

I knew this was going to happen. Was just a matter of time. Thats why I was more concerned with questions re your risk management ppl than all the trolls posting meaningless questions. This kind of stuff is what makes or breaks you as a new player. I am glad you where alert and managed to pick up on suspicious movements. I'm sure there will be many more.

I'm sure there will be, but we watch things very carefully to ensure that nothing gets comprised. We can't have a small few screw things up for everyone so we watch everything.

and so it begins.

Octav is a top notch, stand-up guy. I trust that he will get this resolved. He has a ton of experience in the money transfer business. Anyone who thinks otherwise is koo koo.

Now, where have I heard this before :1orglaugh

I love Paxum though, off to a great start

SallyRand 11-22-2010 05:15 PM

I think that Paxum will get this worked out and everything will be fine. As more functionality is added, you will see, I'm sure that Paxum will grow to suit the requirements of the industry.

ladida 11-22-2010 05:26 PM

Wow. Can't say that's a good thing. Just a few days ago it was "You can withdraw daily 2500x30 days that's 75000 a month, who needs more should use wires". And already now it's 10k. Should have really limited the 10k to people you believe are frauding you, not everyone, because this does not spark good light on the things (because again, people are kind of forced to keep money in the ewallet).
If people wanted wires, they would not use paxum at all but get wires from sponsors, i don't really see the logic behind this.

Why thank you for posting that! Nothing like free publicity and a fan club!

If pointing out apparent mental instability makes me a fan then so be it. :upsidedow

Enjoy the free publicity. Not sure what it is going to get you, but whatever it is, I hope you enjoy!

I think these are valid concerns, and probably what at the end caused epassporte to fall down was too much abusers. So it's good to have some limitations and follow all necessary regulations if you want to keep things running long time without problems. Security is always a balance between keeping things enough functionable to legit users while keeping the abusers away though there will always be those too. Will be good if you can offer over 10k/month cash withdrawals to people who want that, with proper verifications, but most important is that the service will be following all the needed regulations to keep it alive.

Another example is E-gold it was running even longer than epassporte but one day everything just stopped because it was too much associated with money laundring etc.. this same risk is with any similar service if they let people move money too freely and too much.

SallyRand 11-22-2010 08:27 PM

I am certain that Paxum will meet the needs of the industry. I have local people I pay in cash and the $10K limitation will crimp my style for a bit but I can live with it. I issue 1099s to my local people anyway, so I have no concerns with the perception of "money laundering".

It would be a good thing if Paxum were to raise the monthly cash withdrawal limit for verified Business Account holders and I will be discussing this very thing with a Paxum representative on Tuesday.

In any case, Paxum is the way to go on this rocky road of internet business.

Nikitos 11-23-2010 01:35 AM

Actually $10K is fine for lots of webmasters, i guess. For bigger amounts it's better to use wires from the very beginning.

Jakez 11-23-2010 01:53 AM

Hasn't anyone learned their lesson from ePassporte? Why would you want to have $10,000 sitting in Paxum when you could have it sitting safely in your back account accessible from a debit card?

You are 100% right Andy

EMC2Payouts already has the ability to transfer to your existing credit card, or EFT directly into your bank account in over 150 countries and they have their own debit card if you need it. They have all kinds of options - checks, wires, P2P, wires and more.

I think with all the options they offer there is no need to use anyone else.:thumbsup
