Who is completely clean? What is it like to not wake up and HAVE TO HAVE your nicotine or caffeine or whatever else?

Feels like hell

just illegal ones.

Caffeine helps start my day, but it's not necessary and I willingly skip it some mornings. Other than that... a glass of wine with dinner now and then? Nothing I absolutely have to have, though.

I keep saying I'll get off caffeine and then buy some more regular coffee. That stuff is hard drugs!

always went out of my way not to become dependent on anything like those... I'll use caffeine here and there with tea or pop but i never HAVE to have it.

without my bp meds i'd be dead in a few weeks though.. so that kind of dependency is unfortunately unavoidable...

BP (for me) = Bipolar meds.

My best bet is to take "a lack of alcohol" and "not call anyone, even in the morning"

I drink coffee, but don't have to have it. I only drink it if I am dead tired, or go out for breakfast. I've found that I don't drink much anymore either. I've had 3 beers in the last month, and thats on the same day at a BBQ.

So... I can happily say I am not addicted to ANY drug whatsoever.. legal or not.

I'm a slave to nicotine, alcohol, and xanax.

I either become "psychotic old Amp" wandering the streets naked hallucinating that the streets are on fire and that I'm invincible, or.... I become depressed, despondent and suicidal. Neither one is good.

Never tried nicotine. Got a handle on caffine, actually only have occasional soft drinks, never coffee. Got a booze fetish but I only do it socially so wouldn't consider myself a slave.
Now I'm pretty well stuck with blood pressure med... such is life

i've seen em. amp used to go way off. i'm glad he doesn't now. he and i disagree on several things that he considers vital. armegeddon, 9/11, etc.

My meds have been out of balance for a while now. I've been stuck on the low side (depression) for quite a while, but we're adjusting them now, but it takes time. Can't fix it overnight. Basically the meds help keep me in check, but they don't always work.

Maybe if my mood improves I'll change my sig. For right now though, I just don't care. Sig reflects how I feel.

100% free here, never had a cig and don't drink coffee. Just have always believed a healthy diet and mind will dictate how you feel throughout the day.
