Favorite Beers/Must Try Beers...
I often drink Sam Adams but recently have become a Blue Moon fan...
What are your favorite beers? I want to see what other people are drinking... might need to try some new brews... Any recommendations to anything similar to what I drink? |

crème brûlée Imperial Milk Stout
made by southern tier not sure if you would want to drink a 12 pack of them, but they go pretty good with a meal. |

I love drinking good beer.
My uncle wrote a book "The Beer Drinker's Guide to Munich". Check it http://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/the-...rne/1000359165 |

It's cool hangin out with him. He has so much info on beer. I love it. |
Montreal: McAusland Oatmeal Stout, and McAusland's Blonde. Also, Unibroue does Belgian style beer, Blanche de Chambly, white beer on yeast, and Maudite as well as my favorite, the "Trois Pistoles".
South of the (Canadian) Border: Sam Adams, Blackened Voodoo, and Abita - Rolling Rock gets an honorable mention; the micro-micro brews of the Vermont Pub & Brewery in Burlington change each season but they were they best I tasted coast to coast, even with steak (and that pub's steaks were simply awesome). There was an anchor steam ale in San Francisco and a bloody awesome German lager in Iowa, but I don't remember off the top of my head. Mexico: dos Equis and Tecate; beer's not their thing it seems and as long as it's light and refreshing... aaah. :D |

Ive been to germany. First night of oktoberfest I got smashed, a dose of food poisoning and the flu. Spent the rest of trip sick in a hotel. |

but then you also know that beers in bavaria and nothern germany are very different. and since i am from northern germany (and live in CZ) i am more into the Pilsener types - not so much the Weißbier and Lager you get in Bavaria. maybe i just never found the right beers in the US - but even the Pilsener Urquell i had in Phoenix tasted very different from what i know |

Carlsberg brand beers are most favorite in my country by younger population! Touborg is soft beer but good.
