3 minutes worth watching

Awesome. Tapered off towards the end to kinda sappy and fake... but still a great message.

That 3 minutes made me hope it was going to be a good series, unfortunately it became just another boring show

Who says the United States is the best country in the world?

We might be one of the biggest, and a leader in many areas - and one of the most powerful military forces - but that surely does not make us the best over all.

There are many good people in America, but the ones at the top are some of the worst. I wouldn't dream of going there because of the toxic waste in the water supply, and I wouldn't want to have kids there because of all the poisonous injections they mandate. :2 cents:

Just like any developed nation, the USA has many good things going for it, and many bad things.

Sadly this is about as "truthful" and "edgy" as it gets on TV.

Dude spends a couple of minutes demolishing the idiotic (and pointless) fantasy that we are 'the best', then proceeds to say something even dumberer... that we were the best in some mythological, fairytale undefined era of the past that never actually existed, outside the delusional minds of nostalgic, reactionary old fools.

So, in other words, another banal lecture from someone old to someone young about the "good ol' days". Yawn.

It's not the greatest because we are now becoming everything we tried to break away from. Fast.

It USE to be because we produced EVERYTHING and had REAL money and people GAVE A FUCK about FREEDOM and had some damned COMMON SENSE and people would NOT stand for having RIGHTS ripped away from them.

I used to think the US was the best country in the world. Not sure now, except for two things: 1. The US government is certainly not the best in the world. 2. I think the US is the best place in the world for someone with $0 but a lot of ambition to become successful. I became a millionaire in 11 years, by owning/driving a yellow taxi in NYC. Bought the medallion in 2012 at $275,000, paid off the 10 year note after working 80 hours a week for 10 years and a medallion just sold for $1,050,000. Now I'm kicking back a little, 5 months into my "beta year" in porn.

I thought that $1M was just about the absolute minimum nowadays.. I read that in some article a few weeks ago, though, so what do I know... but fucking WoW

Have you seen what some of those guys pay for vendor space? I know bloomberg, I think it was him, KILLED the street vendors... but what is that one place - the capitol building steps ?? - where a hotdog vendor pays $200,000/month for a HOTDOG STAND space?!!

PS: If you made good income AND got your med paid off in 11 years ... that's fucking nice work, there. Good income with a big payout within a decade. Very nice. Can you keep it now and let other assholes work under your plate and make them give you a piece of their action forever?

sad you know so little about the founding of your own country and the principles behind it which led it to greatness - the problems came when America inherited the mantle of leader of the free world whereby the power and the money that flowed in corrupted those in power by those with the money to influence them.

and for all its warts it's still the greatest country in the world, the Internet is mostly an American innovation, Microsoft and Apple are American companies, Facebook as well - the rest of the world still revolves around America, even here in porn land, GFY is American.

The founding fathers never said a word that people would or should be equally successful, never promised the poor or the lazy or the stupid anything but freedom and opportunity. From there on make your own way, make whatever you want of yourself.
