Anyways, does anybody here really think after 2500 scenes Max didn't get a model release?

I shouldn't be commenting on pending litigation but she done fucked up bringing this law suit. I hope she's saving her pennies.

Trying to extort money like this could be very costly not to mention the amount of work she'll lose when all the studio's out there see what they're up against by hiring her.

Oh and by the way the model release has already been submitted to the courts. Her council's response was to ask for a postponement.

The articles info I have found since including the court record have no mention of any filings at all by Max. It certainly seemed odd to me that Max wouldnt get a release but apparently she had enough to get an injunction. I realize ya cant comment on a pending case Im sure yu recognize that the implications for the biz could be huge, and though this was kept pretty quiet for a while (im told xbiz killed a story on it) it could have huge implications for content producers.

I wouldn't sweat it Mike. With all the ridiculous bullshit in her claim she's lucky the courts are even listening to her at all.

Edit: They give injunctions based on one sides complaint.

You should also check for records filed on July 3, 2014.

Max has BTS video of her signing the release. It's all over the web. When it comes to paperwork, Max is airtight. Any of his former colleagues will tell you that: Zane, Legend, etc.

I don't doubt you for a second on the documentation - with Max having had that run-in with the law I'm absolutely positive he'd be very meticulous with documentation and very, very careful - Even more so when you factor in this was her supposed first time shooting. Girl's regret doing porn all the time. Seems sort of hard to claim the shoot caused her distress if she kept shooting afterwards for others...

Max has dealt with this sort of nuttiness for years. I worked with him in the 90s and was actually involved in a similar case of Max Scene Remorse where I had been the performer in the Max production. Case was thrown out as soon as they saw her on tape talking about how much she enjoyed her self. Max doesn't just cover paperwork before they shoot, he shoots coverage of everything so he has a record of anything and everything that goes down. I know because I worked for him when he instituted the policy to protect his ass.

The real story is how did this model convince an attorney to even assert this claim in the first place.

My position hasn't changed. When she ran her intentions by me I told her to let it go, there was no case. As you've demonstrated, she was fine doing the scene. It was not until people started getting into her head about the type of work Max does, that she had remorse. I understand her position, you come into the business not knowing who to trust. You tell people you did your first scene for Max Hardcore and they all look down on you and tell you that you are stupid. In this business of the popularity contest and attention whoring, remorse and anger/revenge sets in.

I've personally known Max for 18 years and he is a friend. Anything I said previously was because I knew what was coming his way from, at that time, an 18 year old with nothing to lose. I even offered to talk to Max. That's why I mentioned to you that she procrastinated in talking to Max.

Although minor, at this point, I can think of only 1 thing that Max needs to do regarding this case. Since he has done nothing wrong, I hope he prevails for the sake of the business.
