Are you ready for Jesus Trump?

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CNGipJIUEAAR5EC.jpg

If he gets elected, I predict the White House will be the 'Trump House,' with 50 foot 'Trump' letters emblazoned over the top. He will outdo all the other despot countries in the world by erecting a 100 foot statue of himself, with his signature hair-do, on the top of Mount Everest.
All will be forced to bow before the great God, the Dictator himself,
TRUMP*

(*unless of course you are Mexican, Chinese, poor, a woman that doesn't bow down to the Trump, or otherwise part of a disenfranchised minority that the Trump is gonna squash).

Not quite as disturbing as the hard-on I imagine he's sporting to plaster his name in giant letters over 652 miles of Mexican border wall.

I saw his speech today and there was a disturbing moment in it. He made a joke about current elected leaders not reading his book The Art of the Deal which he called the best book ever written. He then corrected himself and made sure to tell the crowd that the Bible was the best book ever written and several times referenced how he loves the bible. I'm sure it is just him trying to win over the evangelicals, but it seemed fake and a little disturbing.

Ya, what's disturbing is that someone actually took the time to make that. I assume when they were done they went back to plotting their assassination of Trump.

His entire campaign is based on pandering.

I think his campaign goes beyond just pandering, I'd call it more like brainwashing. If you read his 'Art of the Deal' books you would know he is an expert in the scientifically tested art of persuasion and hypnosis. The article by Scott Adams sums it up perfectly:

Robbie 08-26-2015 11:29 AM

Thank goodness that President Obama didn't do any pandering during his campaign. And it's such a relief that none of the other candidates with their fake b.s. are trying to pander either.

The politicians have done such a fantastic job leading our country to 18 trillion in debt, wars, and spying on us....let's not change a thing.

Yep, in 2008. I was a believer.

And it was the final straw that made me decide to re-examine the political process. Hell, I didn't even KNOW there were any other parties (except the Green Party).

At the moment I don't see me ever voting for another Democrat or Republican. Between Bush and Obama...those 2 opened my eyes.

Ok, so you wanted to believe things would be diffrent and that Obama was going to be the Messiah. Turns out you ended up feeling jipped by your decision so one could say you made a bad decision based on assumptions of what you thought would be.. This shows you don't think things through and believe promises which will likely not happen..

So now we have another candidate promising to be diffrent and here we are again, you are falling for the same thing under a new name. This time with trump..

Now when I voted for Obama, twice, I never felt jipped. I'm confident in my decision that he was the best choice. While he's disappointed me on some things I don't feel my vote was wasted therefore I made a good choice based off my expectations..

See I didn't believe in Jesus messiah bs, I instead looked at reality and could easily see the 2 Republican contenders would have been disasters for this country.. Just like Trump would be. My only expectations for Obama was to get us out of Iraq and Afghan and not start a war with someone else.. I knew the economy would do its thing and Obama not only got us out of both wars he got bin Ladden, got us Healthcare, didn't destroy the economy and for the most part has kept us out of any real conflicts.. I got more than I voted for..

There are a lot of parties out there. Some states still have people running on the Communist Party.

Here in Kansas, the Prohibitionist Party, every once in awhile runs a candidate. Years ago, the State Printer was an elective office. So I voted for the Prohibitionist Party candidate. I was in college, so I'm sure I was drunk that day.

Oh, the irony

No, it doesn't show that at all.

It is just a fact that after watching different Presidents in my lifetime and being a political junky since I was in highschool in the 1970's...I finally had enough of the bullshit of the 2 ruling parties.

Thanks for trying to insult me...but that's the way it worked for me. I grew older and more mature and started really paying attention to how the world works and money is made. And after hearing Reagan promise to "fix" Washington D.C. and nothing changed...and then every President since then promising to "fix" it and nothing changed...Obama just happened to be the last one I could stomach.

It could have just as well have been McCain if he had won that year.

Nothing was going to change and we would still end up in 18 trillion debt.

One day, your own ideas might change. What I once thought was "right", I don't believe anymore.
President Obama struck me as something unique as the first black president and he came into office so popular that he could have done anything and made real change just as he promised.

But he didn't. Instead insurance companies are now many times richer. Wall Street is many times richer. We are still killing people worldwide. We are still spying on our own citizens. We are still incarcerating our own citizens more than any other country in the history of the world.

I want real change and a real alternative. Not more of the same.

That's just my opinion from a lifetime of experience that I've had. Yours is different and you act accordingly. As it should be.

Dyna is another classic case of bad decision maker.. he claims he voted for Obama because he expected the black messiah..

Got butt hurt when he figured out he was wrong.. then falls head of heels for the next "diffrent" guy which make promises he can't keep.

It's like the beaten wife syndrome..

I think you are looking at it wrong.. He actually showing the people in DC that people are actually dumber than they thought they were. He is showing the people in DC, that they don't need to worry about providing any real plans or context, just say some flashy things to get the base riled up and don't worry too much about plans or anything.. Just say some more flashy stuff and insult a few people..

LOL yeah, it's totally fine if you are a 5 year old putting your name on your pair of underwear.

A little different when you are a multi billionaire putting 2,891 foot letters with your name on top of giant buildings, destroying people's riverfront views such as he just did in Chicago:
Mayor proposes restrictions on signs along river - Chicago Tribune

TheLegacy 08-27-2015 10:31 AM

End of day he's tapped into a vein of the American public who's not only tired of being told what to do but a GFY to other politicians and media that few trust. Trump nailed it from day one when implied he's not going to use political talk and kiss ass but instead deal with the issues that apparently people care about.

He has captured peoples hearts partially because of his celebrity status but mostly his business hard line approach of "screw you America is great". Presidents in the pasted appeared as puppets to the wealthy investors and corporate America. Decisions were made with promises broken followed up with political correctness ultimately blaming the other side saying, "its because of the other party we can't do what's best for America" - and I feel people are tired of it and simply don't have a say in it all only watch.

So his platform appeals to the masses for now but it's definitely going to be more interesting than simply two sides calling each other names and playing the blame game.

Unfortunately there is someone on the other side named Bernie Sanders doing the exact same thing, but since he doesn't have billions or take Super Pac contributions he doesn't get nearly the amount of attention Trump does. If he did, I think we would find that there are a lot of other issues people care about that Trump doesn't talk about; including income inequality, climate change, repealing citizens united etc.

Trump has just done a good job to steer the media away from these important issues by shifting the dialogue to where now Mexicans and illegal immigration are our biggest problem, which they certainly aren't. But I guess in hard times it's always easy to scapegoat the problems on the minorities and he's a genius at tapping into that. Hitler was pretty successful at that in the 1930's as well. :(
