I don't think the sheer-ness is as important (to turn me on) as...

a) the design, quality, etc.
b) is it dated? (scrap most of the Euro content hehe)
c) the model is hot and looks good in it

I think often times these sheer pics offer some kind of loophole to get really hot and sexy pics on sites that use non-adult advertising... A bikini site for example that has no links to adult sites will be able to get high-profile ads on it... I think non-adult advertisers can't really say it's nudity if it's a "sheer" top...

Eventually I think the censors will have to eat-a-dick and we'll see mainstream ads in porn.
