Designs like these look great but are they worth the $130?

2) You seem to run a FHG only TGP, I was told they were hard to grow and gain bookmarkers due to the lack of fresh daily new content.

3) Most TGPs are update daily (today's gallery, yesterday's galleries, etc.), is it a bad idea to do it hourly (this hour, last hour, etc)?

4) Some big TGPs have hall of fame at the bottom, why? Do they want to send the most traffic to their paid spots at the top?

1. Yes design does matter. If you don't have $130 to spend on a design there are plenty of options out there. For $45 you can get a design from:
http://tgpfactory.com/

2. FHG TGPs are not hard to grow imho. I mean its better than having to sleep with one eye opened knowing that there are cheaters out there. I got a database of 30,000 galleries. Thats 208 days worth of fresh galleries everyday if I were to update every 10 minutes.

3. No its not a bad idea to make it update hourly, every 30 minutes or even every 5 minutes.

4. Might be the case. But more likely they have all of their new stuff at the top. Arranged by day and quality.

tipper 12-29-2004 11:10 PM

I clicked 10 galleries on your TGP and none went to a trade, do you have any skim enabled?

Stop spamming, once is enough.

zzgundamnzz 12-31-2004 08:21 AM

Yeah, I got skim enabled. I put 100% to gallery in a few key places to boost sales.

ballzonya 12-31-2004 12:35 PM

As a begginner would creatings a THUMBED TGP be more affective than creating a TEXT LINK tgp.. and why..

i see that with Braincash etc... you get all the galleries you need for a thumb site.. but where would one begin if you just wanted text links, like "the HUN" etc.. it seems less bandwidth and reasonable turnover.

First of all, Great Thread! Have learned alot about the process from reading here. A couple of questions i still have:

1. After checking out a lot of sites it seems that the "raptor" traffic trading script is very popular. Problem is there is NO info available on-line. I talked to another webmaster and he told me that it is only sold through refferal. Anyone have any experience with it? And is it better than TM3 and others?

2. Can you check productivity of traffic before you start traffic trading with it? My concern is buying 100k hits and then having all my traffic trade partners ban me because the traffic doesn't produce.

Thanks for your help and this thread.

zzgundamnzz 01-02-2005 11:05 PM

Raptor? I have honestly never used it. If you want a good Traffic Script you should go with Arrow Trader Xtreme.

Yes you can check the productivity of bought traffic before trading with it. Just don't setup any trades and let some of the traffic come in so you can see what it is. Proxy % , Country ... etc.

Thanks for the great tut & all the help throughout the thread zzgundamzz :thumbsup
I'm going to give this a shot once I pull some cash out of the bank...

oberheimer 01-03-2005 03:47 PM

i might build a tgp on my domain, xxxbang.com
$70 is not much for a design (i don't have time to design one myself), becasue i have to many projects going on.
1. surfresults.com (wind wave kitesurfing results)
2. teenpeaches.com (Teen AVS)
3. pixelside.com (my design site)
4. might start a design forum (portal)
Then my TGP that im going to start

What do you think about the domain name?

Showman 01-05-2005 02:01 AM

text based galleries

Anyone know of a tutorial on how to make a text gallery page? Are these all hand made? Or is there a script to make them? Thanks

What do you mean banned? Firefox works.

jazzll 02-19-2005 01:01 PM

When I load up zzgalleries.com in Firefox 1.0 I get:
Code:

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access / on this server.
Apache/2.0.50 (Unix) PHP/4.3.9 mod_ssl/2.0.50 OpenSSL/0.9.7d Server at www.zzgalleries.com Port 80

When I load it up in IE6 I get the warning page

Another question

zzgundamnzz, I have a quick Q for you. Do you think you can give me a little insight on how to get started with no capital. I read this whole post but couldnt believe the prices that these servers charge. I am fairly new but am willing to work to make it big. Thanks.

Go with a reputable Free Host. Find yourself a remote hosted trade script / thumb script. There you go foothold with no capital down.

I just loaded up http://www.zzgalleries.com in my Firefox, and it works fine.

Seems to be a problem with my ISP's load balacning proxy servers and one of those proxies have been IP banned.

Boy, I still need to absorb the first 10 posts ya made zz... this is a lot of info to take in, wow... I will be spending a lot of time in this thread. Luckily I work for Webair, so hosting will not be an issue. :)

I just hope I can learn:

a) How a TGP works exactly
b) Where to buy a decent quality of feeder traffic
c) When to link to galleries and when to link to submitters (traders)

Haha! Oh well, I have the time... so I may as well keep reading the
same posts over and over and over again until something clicks in
my thick head.

I have my site up and running however im having multiple issues im dealing with. My pages will not update themselves, i thought it was a permission error so i chmod them to 777 and still no dice.

When ever i build a page i get this error below:

Warning: fopen(../templates/../../Amateur.shtml): failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/bowzer/public_html/ct/includes/layout_classes.inc.php on line 664

The other issue is i would rather edit my pages with my WYSIWYG HTML editor however when i upload on my server the web interface is still holding the old pages in the web interface.

In CT when using the FTP instead of the web interface, what files do you need to edit and upload.

Is it the .inc files in the templates folder or is the the .shtml files in your public html folder.

Your going about it the wrong way. Read the Manual closely. Your supposed to use the edit page option to change your pages. Just cut & paste from your wysiwyg editor.

The reason why your having problems is your trying to edit the main file. Your supposed to edit the template.

You got two pages the template and the page that gets built .tmpl and whatever your building. Don't fuck with the .inc files if you don't know what your doing.

A.

What your trying to do with a TGP page is to create a page that sells and sustains itself. Either by trading traffic or by collecting bookmarkers or both.

Purpose is to get people to view a gallery or two, get impressions on banners and then if they don't want to buy your stuff to get em out of your site by trading them away for a new person.

B.

Don't buy the premium ppc traffic and send it to your TGP. Just get the cheap stuff. As long as they speak english and aren't bots it should do ok feeding your site.

I would go with http://traffic-for-sale.com . Cheap and decent quality traffic that comes fast.

C.

You gotta elaborate on that question.

If you wanted to you could do both. Or just do one.

Submitters are people who submit galleries to your site. Traders are other sites that you send traffic to get traffic back.

I am new to this forum AND to this arena. I do have to say that this IS an excellent thread.

Thanks zzgundamnzz for this usefull thread.

I have 2 questions to do if you don't mind.

1) Could you please check my site and tell me what would you change to make it better? (if there's something) http://www.analfreeporn.com

2) I bought 160k unique visits from Traffic-For-Sale.com, but the productivity comming from those visits is really really low (about 5%), since you have also used it, can you tell me if this is normal? or there's something wrong with my site?

Thanks a lot in advance for your time

Thats not normal at all. Depending on your setup you should be getting atleast 200% with them.

Isidoro Caņones 03-02-2005 05:49 PM

I'm following exactly your instructions on how to set comus, the only thing that I changed is the first row I did it to "Anal" gallery, otherwise everything is like you said :(

Can you see anything wrong on my site? or something that I may been doing wrong?
