I think the older you get you realize that this cesspool we call earth is pretty much beyond hope, many of the most monstrous things are even happening in supposedly schooled and educated countries... even the supposed good guys are capable of condoning torture methods if it fits their cause
some people think it is perfectly fine to chase a wolf around with a helicopter as it runs desperately for it's life until it is finally to the point of complete exhaustion before they shoot it for sport
as I get older I might start to think that the whole world would be better off if a giant comet came along and obliterated the whole mess instantaneously
