I think it shows you are not a sociopath. I am also having problems trying to remain positive. I feel helpless and wish there is something I could do like donate or volunteer so this leak is stopped but there is nothing other than trying to help the victims. Your nightmare is the same as lots of people: That this leak will continue unchecked for weeks until they get a relief hole drilled.
Now they are talking about plugging up the valve with shredded garbage like tires and golf balls but if they fuck up it could make the leak 12 times as bad as it is now!!!
