Advice Needed - NEW TO THE BUSINESS

Ok, So basically, i now own a domain, Fuckhut dot co dot uk and i really need to know a few things, any input would be amazing and id be grateful.

Is this a catchy name/Does it contain key words to reel in the hits?

How much does it cost to get a site up and running?

And what value could i sell the domain for if i was to sell rather than start?

Thanks

Hey MandemPorn, welcome

Many people here are willing to help, but your questions are probably too basic/generic for one to be able to help.

I'll give it a shot so you don't feel being ignored:

Probably nothing, i.e. close to the registration cost.

Anywhere between 2 dollars and 2 million dollars. It's like asking "what is the price of real estate". Try to figure out first what you want to achieve with your website.

Sorry to disappoint you. If you think that google will rank your site just based on the domain and you will sit and watch the traffic coming in, this won't happen. People invest years of effort to get there, and don't always succeed.

some further advice:
1. based on your domain, you want to do adult. post your questions on the adult forum, rather than on the mainstream.
2. start with the excellent educational series here on gfy. There's some seriously helpful stuff in there. check also MrDeiz's articles for webmasters starting up, on his Signbucks. Good stuff.

Good luck!

I'm new to this business as well (but I have a good track record in other niches). I hope we learn a lot here!

I like your domain name, it's memorable
