motivated seller

Is this the new go-to term for retard domain brokers? It seems like everybody is "motivated" to sell at 5 times what their domains are worth these days. I guess selling "highly brandable" and "premium" domains just isn't cutting it anymore? The seller needs to be "highly motivated" now?

"motivated" , "highly brandable", "don't have time" , "lots of possibilities"

All terms retards use for shitty names.

or domain "brokers" who do not know how to conduct business.

"Make Offer" is NOT a sign of a "motivated" seller.

I'm highly motivated to sell a highly bendable domain with lots of possibilities that I don't have time to develop.

You'll see the same thing for real estate. I can't tell you how many times I see "motivated buyer" and my first thought after looking at the price is "not motivated enough."

I had been wondering about that term too, I was thinking it would be better to seem reluctant, like you had to sell for a reason but didn't really want to, then someone thinks they are getting a bargain. Whereas if one is a "motivated seller" then the perception is they don't really want it as it's not particularly good

If I ask a domain broker about a domain and they say "make an offer," I never reply. Rubs me the wrong way.

It usually means that they are willing to negotiate the price.

They don't want to find they priced it lower than you would offer.

My favorite is "I'm selling my baby". If you see that phrase just know he wants you to pay at least 20x what it is actually worth.
