I am looking for low cost hosting with easy setup for wordpress blogs, currently using godaddy deluxe plans. (and able to host Adult content with no issues)

Thanks guys, I will be checking out/possibly working with at all 3, I have a ton of domains and will be looking to triple sales in 2011.

I will have to say, I have warned many people against Host Gator based on past experience with speed, and resources. A recent project i took part in required HostGator hosting, and my account was fast and never an issue with resources. I don't know if it is luck of the draw or what.
Barefootsies is also offering some good deals on VPS if you take a look in buy/sell

HostGator is excellent.

On a related topic, with any virtual host, even including VPSes, there's an element of luck involved depending on whether your site is on a heavily loaded server or not. Also, even just a handful of users doing development / script testing can easily bog down a server...

Better virtual hosts set and enforce limits, along with constant monitoring - HostGator appears to do an excellent job keeping their servers running smooth, but it's not perfect - some occasional sluggishness and, also, though very rarely, page not found / connection timeouts.

Rambling on ... point is virtual hosting is always a tradeoff and hence even the best virtual host places will have issues - key is how frequently problems occur and how well they handle them when comparing such services.
