I really really thought that the idea for a visual adult directory would be a hit in Jan 2005. I have worked my ass off, and have basically had no social life since 2005 when digitaldivasonline.com launched! Looking at my numbers from 2005 until now, I am just disappointed. I really thought that it would have taken off and it has not. Digitaldivasonline.com never got out of the "underconstruction" phase and um ...yeah.

Such is the case, I am going to revamp everything to be much less time consuming then the model that I have currently been doing. Like some have been yelling at me to do, for awhile... I will never abandon websites in favor of blogs. SEO in a website with an established domain alone is worth coding the pages. Wherever I am directing the traffic... But I gave these domains 5 years to get up and going and maybe I just bit off more than I could chew with producing my paysites and at the same time thinking "let's create one of the largest niche porn networks online".

I will still have graphics, as I am a hopeless graphics whore, but have shifted all of my index models to a much different format. Wish me luck, I will let you all know how the second incarnation of the digitaldivasonline network plays out in 2015.

As far as my sponsors, which are a ton of you, this is just a heads up, basically. We will see where this goes! Pretty excited actually... Here is to more traffic from me to you in Q4 2011, thats when everything will be finished. Now back to re-pimping 1143 sites and 233 link trades :P

nice sites. i'm a design whore myself and in the end it just costs you money - it matters to you but it matters to almost nobody else, if your sites looked like thehun and you put all the time you fuss with design into traffic generation you'd be much richer. there probably is a happy medium tho.

and how have your paysites done?

The paysites are good Mutt, pretty blessed with them. I am launching several more and have to get to some inner peace with these babies, which are my indexes. Before moving on to build these other 2 paysites.

I know on the design thing. But there is something special with all of my sponsors. I feel like they all deserve eyecandy and exposure to DDO. But I save all of the old sites, maybe will tweak them someday.

It's mainly for feeding traffic into many different niches. Index cira 1999 or not. The simple fact that 1/2 my competition has been wiped out of cyber due to the economy, sales, processor fiasco's etc, since 2009, means that if I am the only person adding new sites, etc to my indexes, that will bode well for me either way I think. I am not redesigning them from the ground up, just tweaking some pages, throwing in many more ad spots and some other things, so I can update fast, put people's concepts up fast and if they don't work out, then it is much faster to pull them from my sites, rather than having all of my sponsors buried everywhere.

Garce, I am not stopping doing anything, just redesigning and changing the business model. Geez Louise. And the fact that I have not really worked for anyone but myself since 2008 means that I am pretty blessed, whether the concept worked out or not. I've always said this was a 5 year experiment. I make the lionshare of my money through my paysites. And have always made sales to many of my sponsors. Just not enough to validate me putting in the crapload of work I have for the end result.

...I mean shit, digitaldivasonline started out as the link page for beautifulfeetonline.com way back in the day. I learned a ton though and am excited to put the 5 years of trial and error into remarketing these sites. They aren't going anywhere.
