I can give you tips how to improve SEO: get better Googler ranking, PR, get more backlinks, create good keywords, right density, html tags.

Best SEO advice, don't worry about SEO. Provide good stuff and SE hits will follow.
That being said, read G's SEO 101 and keep the basic rules in mind when creating your site.

Educate yourself.

Unless you have very deep pockets to hire a firm dedicated to SEO. Even then, it can take time to have positive effects on your web properties.
