That doesn't make it better... that proves WHY it should be avoided.

You get enough radiation naturally, you're about to get some while you fly, your nuts are getting it while your phone is in your pocket - I think missing an extra quick blast from the 10 second radiation chamber can be avoided... when others really can't.

Keep in mind if you and your family died in a plane that got blown up by a terrorist bomb and god was going to give you a "do over". A chance to get your life back and your families life back. But the "do over" had to be that TSA had to put a finger in your ass to fly and as a result of that finger in everyones ass before they boarded the plane, they stopped "the ass bomber" who if not fingered in his ass by TSA would have blown up the plane you and your family was on. What would you do?

Im no hero, but if a finger in my ass by TSA is going to bring me and my family back, im there

Look guys, im not a "would have, should have, could have" type guy. Im the guy that likes to do things once and right. "Thinking" its safe enough isn't good enough for me. "Knowing" that everything possible is being done to keep me and my family safe is everything. If that means a little more time, a few extra pats, my 3 year old daughter being pated down "in front" of me, i'm cool with that. Me and my family dying in a plane blown up by terrorists, i'm not cool with.
hey, as long as they're gentle. on the serious side though, i think we need to start over with the tsa and do it right. i'm not exactly sure what that is but it is currently an adminstration run afoul.

I agree 100% but I have never had my Daddy videoing the pat down, either. It wasn't like it was a hidden camera. I bet that she would have gone a lot easier on the kid if she wasn't worried about it being on You Tube and her bosses asking her why she slacked on the pat down.

Just my thoughts.

I don't have a problem with this either. It was professionally done. Don't give me a sob story about how the kid thought she was in trouble; This is something that we need to go through and her mother and father were right there the entire time.

Kids are not exempt from security procedures. The moment they are, it's game over. Because your going to have some terrorist who get explosives in there.

Everyone goes through the same security procedures, or no one flies. Period. You have people like this who are going to bitch, and then you have people who will sue when their planes get blown up. It's a no win situation.

I have a ten year old kid. I'd be fine with her being searched like that as long as it's professional.

Although kids may not officially be exempt from security procedures, in practice they often are.

My point was exactly what I stated. That although there may not be a rule saying that kids are exempt, in reality they often get onto planes without going through the same procedures that adults do. I know because I have seen it several times and because I know people who have flown with children.

You can stop using cell phones around kids or stop them from using them which is so much more worse than exposing them to a quick blast. Hell if you are that concerned about a quick blast then why take them on a plane in the first place which exposes them to more than just a quick blast ..Take a train, boat or drive. That arguement which you gave does not make one bit of sense when the actions you are about to do by flying with your kid is worse than a quick dose

Just for the record...the TSA has NEVER "uncovered shoe bombers, underwear bombers" or anything else except drugs.

And forcing people to be searched just to be able to pay for the privilege of riding a glorified bus with wings is total and complete bullshit. If somebody wants to blow up a freakin' plane, they WILL find a way. Hell they could just swallow a bomb and walk on the plane.

As I recounted a few weeks ago...I went to New York at the beginning of March. I flew out of Vegas. The TSA ran me through the scanner...of course I had to remove EVERYTHING from my pockets (wonder what they are looking for there?) including my money and hold the paper money in my hands. Then they made me stand there for like 5 minutes holding up the line.

Then I was told to step into a room with 3 TSA agents. They told me that my scan didn't "go through". They had me lay my money on a table...and keep in mind I don't wear underwear and I was wearing comfortable sweat pants and a t-shirt with flip flops for the plane ride.

They groped my cock and balls. Groped my ass. Patted me down from head to toe. THEN they pulled my waistband on my sweat pants forward and ran their hands all over my pubic area.

I jokingly said to them: "I don't keep my cocaine down there"
And the guy looked at me and said: "How did you know what we're looking for?"

Yeah...this is all about terrorism my ass. It's about the govt. USING terrorism as a way to try and assert full control over people. It's total bullshit, and is unconstitutional to boot.

As a result of that search, I feel safe that you wont be blowing up any plane.

So between us, where did you hide the drugs?

Im guessing in the shampoo bottle.

On a plane you're "exposed" to the radiation, in the scanner it IS 'infused' into your body, within seconds, like an xray... or they couldn't see shit, just like while flying they couldn't see shit simply from the 'exposure' of radiation. They are vastly different.

Cell phone frequencies do not contain radiation. The microwave radiation that is leaked directly from a Phone is from the electromagnetic field, which is actually cooking your cells from the polar molecules within the field and is physically changing the cell structure of cells, reprogramming them basically so they forget what they should do, making them tumorous.

I don't let my kids talk on cell phones, I don't carry a cell phone with me unless I'm at a show or on vacation. I actually rented my phone out at the Forum, I had to reconnect it for him, I haven't touched it in months.

Again, exposure vs. infusion.

Im guessing in the shampoo bottle.
I was told back in 1998 to do that. So I went to St. Martin for week to party with a fake tit whore who was feature dancing there. After a week of partying and fucking and just having a blast...the two of us were flying back to Atlanta.

We still had an eight ball of really good coke on us at the airport and I was gonna put it in the shampoo bottle before we walked in and checked our luggage.

But at the last minute I got scared and didn't put it in there. Instead we snorted it all at the airport. (pre-911 so we weren't being searched the way they do now)

Man I was fucking JACKED UP on that plane ride home! lol I never did so much blow in such a short time before! heh-heh

Anyway, when we got back to Atlanta...I opened my luggage and found my bottle of aspirin opened and dumped in my clothes AND my bottle of shampoo opened and dumped all over my clothes.

So don't believe that "shampoo bottle" theory. They are looking for that one. lol

As long as they search everyone equally, i ok with it.
I see no problem what so ever, and who is the moron who titled the video "Groped". The little girl wasn't groped. She was was pat down. Obviously the moron doesn't know what being groped is. AND it was a female doing it. The way I read all the hype about this before i saw the video you would have thought it was some creepy old man.

Also, the TSA worker probably saw that it was being recorded and was making sure to do a good job. For all you people know there could have been a threat or reliable intel that hinted at the possibility of terrorist using children, so they were being a little more thorough. Or it was simply an employee trying to do her job to the "t".

You people look for anything to bitch about the govt about. The govt can't win, they get criticized when they try to protect people and they get criticized when something bad happens. Everyone wants to live in lala land where they don't want any safety measures but they want to be 100% protected, sorry it doesn't work that way. Pick one.

as stated above, i think that could have been one of the possibilities. She tries to do a good job people out raged, she doesn't pat t he kid down or is real lax about it, people bitch that she isn't doing her job.

There is so many nuts in this country. What is worst is what you find mostly on here and other forums, people who want it both ways. Want 100% protection but no safety measures for THEM. they want it for the "bad guys" but they don't think they should have to be searched or pat down. Like the govt will magically know exactly every person who is a bad guy. Will never happen.

People need to wake the fuck up and got out of fantasy world. Perhaps they spend too much time on online or on liberal / "its cool to hate on the govt" websites and lose touch with reality.

Honestly? I'll go with Don't want the govt. to protect me.

They didn't do any of this back when planes were actually being blown up and hijacked in the 1970's and 1980's. People seemed to be just fine flying hundreds of thousands of flights every year without needing govt. "protection".

Now we had a handful of guys with box cutters wreak havoc 10 years ago...and we are frisking people at airports?

And the actual shit that went down on 9-11 was effectively handled the second they put those locked solid steel doors on the cockpit. Nobody is gonna be hijacking any more planes into buildings anymore.

Also to me...it's kinda disturbing that if you went to get on a plane, and you went to security and they decide they want to "pat you down"...and then you say "NO" and decide that you no longer want to even get on the plane, you just want to say "fuck it" and go home...They won't let you go.

THAT is fucked up. It's a freakin' service industry for God's sake. But the govt. is so over-reaching in all this "terrorism" stuff that they are taking the whole thing to extremes.

I know...you can always say: "Well that guy is a TERRORIST! He could have realized he was busted with all those bombs and was trying to back out and maybe do it another day"

Yeah maybe. And maybe, just maybe one day the TSA will actually find even ONE bomb on somebody. So far they have found...drugs. I feel so much safer knowing that somebody won't be smoking a joint when they arrive at their destination. And I'm so happy to allow people in uniforms to order me about like a dog and search me.

Sorry guys. I don't like it one bit and never will. I hate flying now with a passion. I still have to do it. But it's all I can do to hold my temper at security. So don't anybody be surprised if one day you read about me getting my ass tazed at the airport for busting somebody right in the face.

TSA and airport security in general are a joke. I forgot I left my almost empty can of butane for a flight in my carry on. Flew from LAX to TDot, then TDot to Boston. Found it as I was in the bus ride back from the rental car place looking for my GPS cord. This is not a small item, and it is metal.

One of my buddies was coming back from his rotation in Afghanistan. His group had their rifles, guns, knives, as their going through TSA. TSA guy goes through his carry on and finds a nail clipper and file. Told him he had to throw it away. Ineptitude at it's highest order.

strangers in a uniform are different.
do whatever they say and dont question them.

We have to protect the country from the terrorists who want to make us less free and a police state, and the way to do that is to become a police state on our own, err, I mean, just shut up and do everything Big Sis says or we will make your life unpleasant.

I made the mistake of taking him off of ignore in one of my clickcash threads he felt the urge to post in, my mistake, wasted a couple useless hours arguing with him, just to have him end it with his classic " game on" bull shit he sames to say when you get him real pissed off.

This was a funny thread you would enjoy reading... https://gfy.com/showthread.php?t=997009 read thedoc's replies and his little temper tantrum, rather funny seeing him bite the hand that feed him.

But they do not stop there, the outside screening is just the first step with people during the entire process of boarding a plane trained in what to look for.

If someone is willing to be patted down or run through a body scanner to help them feel safer then good for them, I consider it a violation of personal privacy. But who cares, just one more right we should give up for the state
all that shit is paid for by american donations.. wouldn't work in reverse , israel is tiny.. close to the same size as disneyworld in florida

the stupid part is 9/11 coul happen again tomorrow , and no patdowns / body scans or bomb sniffing computers is ever going to stop it. you could hijack an airplane with your glasses.

The other stupid part is i could stop every single hijacking in basically one day at almost no cost.

Step#1 weld shut door to cockpit

if you cant get to the cockpit or talk to the cockpit you can't hijack a plane.

all cockpits have doors on the floor to get out already.

heres another airport time waster that pisses me off. the metal detectors.. why not put a metal detector outside for people to first check themselves, if they get to the front of the line and the detector goes off they have to go to the back of the line and let the non-idiots go first. or better yet they simply aren't allowed on. no refund..

I didn't see anything wrong with the video. The parent was steps away, there was another TSA agent watching and the agent that did the pad down explained what she was going to do to the child as she did it. It wasn't groping, she was using the back of her hand. I think it was a waste of time, but it was no different than an adult pad down.

i flew with some cheap thai airline this week - the only "security" check was that they ran my hand luggage through the xray - my laptop remained in my bag. other than that: nothing, nada... and the plane didnt get blown up.
