With the articles out about people being able to purchase their own tld extension, I don't see how they will be able to force anyone to do anything. With the chances of people paying for a .sex, .porn etc in the near future, I don't think they will be able to accomplish this.

Not saying anything here other than I don't think we will be forced to use .xxx domains.

There will be new extensions for trademarked brands, so this could be confusion for costumers.

I credit YNOT with raising-the-bar for shows, especially with very meaningful seminars and business/networking opportunities. AND, even the other aspects (facilities, parties, etc have been a model for others---IMO, other shows then copied YNOT).

Right now, I don't know of any other told ie .sex .porn etc that have a lobbyist in Washington like .xxx does. This has and always be a concern.

Time will tell. But if there's anything I know about this industry, there will always be a few wiling to fuck everyone else to make more money.

You guys are right and I hadn't put as much thought into my last post as I should have. I read somewhere else that it was a lot of money to make each tld, and with so many variations you can come up with for sexually based tlds, I had assumed they wouldn't possibly be able to pick up every one.

I figured there would be some people in the biz that may try to pick up some of these as well when this option becomes available.
