There's nothing you can tell her to relieve her pain. She'll probably go through a long-term grief process. Her mission now is to continue raising her two kids and for that she'll need to be strong. Usually, women are stronger than men in such life situations. Telling the kids that the father is not longer with them will be devastating

pass, she needed to travel to where her family lived. I washed the
laundry she would need for the trip because that was one little

So sorry to hear that tragedy has stricken your family in such a way.

A good friend of mine lost her fiancee in Afghanistan a couple years ago. It was very hard on her and very hard to watch her go through it all. All I can say is I offer my condolences and all you can do is just be there for her and your nieces/nephews. Even when she needs her space.. be that little bird that always keeps a watchful eye for when she does need you... and she will.

She's going to move to florida to raise the kids 'somewhere warm'. They had discussed it every time before he's been deployed.

Another guy who was injured in the attack has also just died. His body is on its way back here already but i have no idea when the funeral will be. I don't imagine it will be open casket.
