Where to get divx codecs these days? - GoFuckYourself.com

all i can find is this stupid divx plus crap and they want you to pay.

try the xvid codec...or one of the codec packs....http://www.cccp-project.net/ is one and has several codecs in it

yeah i installed the xvid already, i guess that will cover most files? thanks for the other link too.

With windows 7 you don't really need any codec packs. Just install Haali media splitter and you should be good to go for any movie file out there. Might have to install AC3Filter if you don't have your computer connected to a sound system using a digital output.

I found those codec packs used to be such a pain. You'd get one format working then another would break, at least when I used to use shark007.
