If you use FB friends' status lists to pimp, I mean market, your stuff, get ready for some changes. It's obvious Google's CIRCLES system has got Facebook's attention.

Friends lists aren't the way to do it anyway, it's all about pages, that's the best way of marketing I have found on FB.

FB is all about indirect marketing.....Build a relationship with your readers and they will want to know more about you and "like", "friend" or "subscribe" to you....

but pages are driven by exposure on friends pages. people dont just randomly show up, they have to see that you are out there. the viral part comes when your stuff is on plenty of peoples pages. but if a percentage of friends get downgraded to just acquaintances, you can expect your pages exposure level to drop.
