30 car pile up between Phoenix and Tucson

Looks like this was caused by high winds and blowing dust.

This is third or fourth large crash this year on I10 between T-Town and Phoenix due to dust storms. Nuts.

Here is a link to another news channel, you can scroll through the images to get the just of this pile up. Some of the cars are pretty messed up....feel sorry for those who have already died.

Dust storms were never like this when I was a kid and there weren't that many.

I just got home from being on the 202 and the car was all over the road with the wind gusts.

I couldn't believe it, but people were actually driving under the speed limit....

Dust storms. Did we not have them when I lived in Phoenix from 2000 to 2006? I never saw the one the entire time I was there.

that stretch is a breeding ground for dust storms and AZ can get some crazy weather...when i lived out there we had a "monsoon" that ended up being classified a hurricane (yes a hurricane in a land locked desert...i doubted it too but at the time all the news stations were talking about how this was a hurricane in the desert...something about horizontal rain and the way it was blowing), and that storm spurred a tornado about 2 miles from where i was living...i sat in the garage and watch air conditioners and roofs get torn off like they were nothing....crazy i tell ya
