My general rules when it comes to sponsor recommendations are if it's an owner or affiliate rep then disregard it. Likewise for a sig or contest whore. If it's another webmaster who posts a ref code then double the conversion ratios they claim and you'll usually be closer the truth.

He doesn't even have enough traffic or sales to do an accurate test in 6 months, much less however long he promoted you or anyone else.
