i guess hard work stinks, making just one movie, and noone will ever find out and you get a lot of money for a few hours of work sound nice, and then when you get a lot of money, you start spending a lot, so you have to make new movies, and then you start having new even more expensive habits, that you must have, so you need even more money.. this is my guess..

I can't believe no one has mentioned the real reason yet: DRUGS. They all want fast money for drugs. End of story. You can tell yourself otherwise, but it's drugs they spend their money on and it's drugs that make them desperate enough to suck a dick on camera. It's the drugs that make them undependable. If they have enough money for drugs at the moment, they don't show for work. The second they run out of money for dope they get on the phone and want work. Not all are this way, but I'm willing to bet that 95% or more are.

As the only actual vagina in here posting, there are many reasons girls do porn. Some are excited and want the attention, and the money is good. Some are really broke and need fast cash. Some are already a porn star lifestyle just need to shoot. And lots are strippers who decide to make the jump.

Wrong. Drugs ranks way low on the reason girls do porn - also ranks very low on what these girls spend their money on. A lot of girls in the LA porn world dabble in a little blow or meth there is no doubt, but the vast majority do not. Even the ones that do spend a very small portion of their income on it.

When it comes to our demographic, I think people are more interested to make their own sites because it's just a more natural way to make a living. You get a hand in the creative aspect, you learn a lot about marketing, you essentially own your own business and you get to do all of this by being yourself and having the sex you want to have with someone with whom you have genuine chemistry.

I can't speak to "girls" doing porn in the more traditional sense, but we're seeing an uptick in intelligent people who are starting to see porn as a viable option for themselves because it's slowly becoming less stigmatized to be sexual, providing it can be adequately contextualized as being about being creative/independent.

I never said that. I don't feel the need to put the models down that I make my living off of. But the reality is that many young girls get into porn almost on a whim or lark rather than as a well thought out career plan. Great post except you are way off about fame part... for some yes, the want to get fame, but thats rare for first timers...very rare. I will guess you have never shot many girls then. Girls who need to do porn to feed a habit are not the type who sell, good to work with reliable, trustworthy and they have BF who are usually strung out and not the type of people you want knowing where you live.
