Network Solutions - Reinstatement Fee
So my domain expired Friday (01/27/12), and I was aware, but I figured I had a grace period, and I was waiting for some paypal.
Today (01/31/12) I log in to renew and I see one year now is $37.99 and they added a $25.00 Reinstatement Fee I guess we're all hurting for cash, and this will keep people on their toes with keeping up with their renewals, and this grace period comes with a price |

Try Namecheap or Internet.bs, you will probably be much happier with either one of them.

Other registrars easily charge a $250 reinstatement fee. Not because it requires all that more effort, but because they can.

NS's fee is different in that they charge this before redemption.

Others do it too, just usually not immediately after expiration. GoDaddy doesn't wait until redemption, only until 19 days after to charge a fee ($80 I think?).

Ask NetSol to waive the fee or you'll transfer all your domains out. Then transfer it all out anyway.

good point. most do it before redemption since they try and sell of the domains first but give a grace period from 18-30 days. NS gives none before charging the 25 and charges 160 I believe after 30 days.
