HomeSite Save As issue via FTP
I have been using HomeSite to build websites for ages and though I had the full Dreamweaver Suite and FrontPage, I still swear by Homesite.
I have one very strange problem that was on one PC and now it is on my laptop too and for someone who had this problem it probably is an easy fix. When I take a file and attempt to "save as" via FTP it does not work as the FTP list does not come down on the drop down menu and there is no way to force it in. Right now I have to save new files on a desktop and with another program FTP them to where I want them. If a file exist on a server I can open it, edit it and save it, just not rename it - which I do often with templates... Rather than uninstalling the entire program and possibly having to set up another 25 or so FTP accounts again, does anyone have a solution? Homesite is no longer being supported and would also be interested in another very similar program. (this computer is WinXP and wondering if in fact it is a windows issue) |
