Not in Arizona. We have VERY lax gun laws ... no permit required for a concealed weapon. We also don't recognize the Brady Law in this state. Sad, really.

This is kind of my point. Gun owners scream bloody murder about all of the restrictions they have on purchasing and owning a firearm.

In order to get a driver's license you have to pass a written test, a driving test, and an eye test. Then you have to maintain your DL on a yearly basis, renew it, and hand it over to an police officer on demand. You can also loose your driver's license if your careless with it. If that's not enough, you have to pay to register your automobile - every year.

Yet all we need in California to purchase a firearm is quick background check. No license required, no registration, no nothing.

Fucking scary man.

Arizona - in the border towns - might be the only place you should be able to legally own an assault rifle.

They did everything wrong but likely legally owned it. So do you see what's wrong with the picture?

While yea part of the problem is that it's far too easy to get a gun in the US, the other problem is any idiot can get one.

That's what I'm saying - what if she just got away with murder passed off as an unfortunate accident? It's not like these were little kids playing with it.

Even worse that there was a round chambered and the safety was off. There was a girl who's never seen a gun her entire life, but thought it would be cool if she she held it. I'm not sure if you're completely full of shit or just another idiot. Obviously you don't know a damn thing about Glocks though.

First rule they teach you in any/every gun safety class. Treat every gun as if it was loaded..
