any one know why they removed blogroll?

anyhoo here's a plugin to put it back

probably lack of interest, it still exists in the core, just removed from the UI.

Code:

add_filter( 'pre_option_link_manager_enabled', '__return_true' );

add this to your functions.php file in your theme to enable it

All these custom functions work great for Wordpress' core audience. You have to be a programmer to have a unique, funtioning Wordpress site. Wordpress is a joke now. More work than it is work.

What CMS do you recommend with similar functionality and customization capabilities?

Never understood why that was removed. Did they find that people don't use it?

I was surprised by that removal too. I use the menu function now. It works just as well. Just gotta get used to it.
