Who here uses a CDN?
Are they worth it? What's pricing like compared to regular bandwidth? Do they charge by the Gb?

I tend to use cloudflare and rackspace for different projects, but quite honestly, I don't see much difference other than paying a bit more (really not much, just a bit). It could be my country, tho, our clients are pretty happy with speed when using a CDN, so guess they have a different experience than me

I used to use cloudflare but after a couple of painful downtimes I switched to maxcdn. No problems since.

if you use cloudflare, keep a close eye on your webmaster tool stats and your crawl figures etc. Well worth a CDN for your static stuff and to get that First Page Load time down to under a second
