Alien life is an actual probability based on the size of the universe. It is not faith based to say that somewhere in the vast universe there are other life forms, even on a microbiological level. However, it is 100% faith based to say a being created the universe and damns us all to hell if we don't worship him, but he loves us. I mean really, that is just bat shit crazy. There is nothing to prove. There are only sane and insane people. You choose which one you are. If you don't believe, then there is nothing to prove to anyone about anything, as you chose logically and correctly. Congrats on being one of the sane people on the planet.

80% of the US must be crazy then because that's how many people believe this according to polls.

How is it that so many people are crazy?

If he wants to carry on then a few emails will be sent and a couple of phone calls will be made.

how are people not understanding what he is getting? you cannot disprove or prove the existence of god (as most people percieve god, ie white beard man in a big chair), so it's either a belief or non-belief.

It's so simple that I'm having a hard time understanding people are not understanding that distinction. I don't believe in 'god', but I'm also aware it's a non-belief, and not a fact, as 'god' is a non-tangible 'item'.

And if you (as in anyone) doesn't believe it's a belief, and *is* fact, so what on either side - who gives a fuck if someone else is 'wrong', really???
